Neighborhood: Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.

This house has a good structure with a good internal area, but in my point of view could have better electronic music. The outside is nice too, but better musics. It was hard buy drink with R$ and US$, but with patient, you do it.

We went for February 2011 Pacha re-opening night with trance DJ Miss Nine and had a very good time. Arrived at 1:30am and there was no line to get in. We had heard that ladies were free before 2am, but since we didn't have some kind of special flyer (and didn't know where to get one, as we were just visiting Buenos Aires, and my Spanish was not good enough to quiz them on exact details), we ended up having to pay full price. Likewise heard that men would get free drinks, but maybe it required the same special flyer. So paid A$70/person which was a little high, but worth it, and cheaper than clubs in other places such as Sao Paulo, Brazil, where we went out next.
The event space was good, although a little smaller than I expected after reading reviews saying that it could hold 3000 people. Two dance floors including one outside and one inside. A nice crowd and good sound system, and we enjoyed Miss Nine very much. Party kept going until 7:30am.
Best to take a taxi out there and back from your hotel... Paid around A$35 or so each way for the taxi, so it does add up... but still worth it.

I went to the club with my friends on Saturday night.
It looks like a big party house, very full of people, party supplies, reasonably priced drinks but personal. Ideal for people who like big crowds and London style clubbing.
It is a pity but there is not much atmosphere and not much glamour what I experienced in Pacha club in Majorca or Ibiza for example.
Another thing I noticed was that it was quite dirty and a lot of litter and drinks (water) on the floor, so not the most glamorous place to hang out.

I was stabbed in the arm with a hypodermic needle at this club and spent the next month on antiretrovirals and had to spend thousands of dollars on emergency hepatitis vaccines. Then, when I finally tracked down the police precinct in in which the club belongs and spoke to an officer who works undercover there, he refused to believe that I had been in the club that night and demanded that I provide evidence to prove that I was. It's a dirty, crooked place where some very nasty things go on. And, worst of all, it seems that the police are in on it.

I was pushed up against a wall by some idiot walking through there that then tried to digitally assault me. Thankfully I managed to get away with some minor bruising. I left immediately. The music was bad as well. No wonder most women there were wearing jeans. It tainted my BA experience. What was even worse was I was so excited about going, calling my friends back home in Australia and ten that happened.

Went there with a friend on a Saturday night. It's quite far from the city centre, but we thought it's worth the effort since it's 'Pacha'. Minimal number of people in the queue, but got turned away at the door by the doormen without even a word of why. When I tried to ask about the reason, I was pretty much manhandled away.
Neither of us was dressed badly, so if it was because of that, then their dress code is ridiculous for a place that's supposed to be about dancing and good electro music.
Save yourself the taxi fare and go somewhere else.

there's not much to say. we've been there on new years eve: it's expensive, there are terrible people in it, the club itself would have big potential. just another pacha what's not able to hold the level of it's original place in ibiza. don't go there!

It used to be a great nightclub. Too many pickpoketers, dealers and many "unfriendly" faces. It's a pitty since the place itself is amazing (next to the River, has a terrace, etc.) It's always very crowded. Give it a try if you wish but be aware of this.....
