The Shopping Mall is very attractive with lovely murals on the ceiling. It was resplendent with a very tall Red Christmas Tree which I had never seen in the past anywhere else - Ready for Christmas already!

Perhaps the most beautiful of the active shopping centers in Buenos Aires, not only can you explore the belle epoch architecture from the inside but you can enjoy the famous Berni frescos while sipping an excellent espresso in the center of the Galerias. Even if you're the sort of visitor that avoids malls at all costs, this is one worth... More

The first impression when you enter the Galerias Pacifico will be that it must be a museum - it is a wonderful piece of art! Just walking slowly through the galleries will make you fly above clouds. A lot of global brands and shops are present inside, and slowly sipping a coffee in the central terrace surrounded by magnificent orchids... More

What impresses me is not the shops inside the shopping mall (which houses both international and local brands) but the beautiful art on the walls and ceilings. Worth a visit if you happen to be in the area for the architecture and to browse the brands.

Was in Buenos Aires in April 2011 and had an opportunity to visit the Galerias Pacifico as it was within walking distance of my Hotel. This is like an indoor Mall with many stores located inside with a food court in the lower level. It is very modern and chic. But what is really Eye catching is when you enter... More

This mall only opens at 10 am so don't go too early. It's elegant with many shops and a large food court area catering for a variety of tastes. Famous brands are well represented here. Worth a visit if only to browse!

This is a really beautiful mall. Incredible artwork decorating the walls and nice upscale shops. We walked there from the hotel, so I was too tired even to spend money. In the center there is a dome that is beautifully decorated, underneath is a cafe with sectioned off table service. Very nice!

The building is a piece of art. The architecture combiend with contemporary stores make the experience unique. Definetly worth to shop there...bought leather goddies at iconic Lazaro store, known for their leather products. Unexpensive and high quality. Other stores go from Channel, european brands, to local prestige stores. Worth a visit !

Staying in San Nicolas

Neighborhood Profile
San Nicolas
Immersed in the sound of honking horns and the footsteps of busy office workers, the Microcentro area of San Nicolás is where visitors will encounter the true hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, walking down streets lined with office buildings and banks. The financial district is well-known for its vibrant atmosphere and unstoppable rhythm during office hours. After dark, the hubbub migrates to Corrientes Ave., where theater lovers might start their evening at a play and end it in one of the many traditional pizzerias nearby. During the day, Corrientes is known for its many bookshops and classic cafés, which are located just minutes away from some famous landmarks, like the Obelisco, Avenida 9 de Julio, and the Teatro Colon.
