I have been going on a regular basis to Paseo del Rosedal, since 1991, and it stills take my breath away. I highly recommend to vist this Park (Palermo), at least once, if you are ever in Buenos Aires. My favorite place in the Park is the white Helenic Bridge.

Beautiful roses, pretty man-made lake, trees, and gardens lead to a relaxing afternoon. I really enjoyed seeing the locals enjoying themselves, and I felt a part of the local community for the afternoon.

Just keep on walking in the beautiful parks and gardens of Palermo, to escape the busy avenues of the capital. Argentines of all ages hang out in the parks in summer, and you'll consequently find all sorts of activities, from reading, drinking "maté", frisbeeing, gymnastics to playing ball. You can walk for hours through the parks alongside the avenues Libertador... More

We were travelling with children. On our first day, we walked from Palermo where we were staying to this park. It was so relaxing and beautiful. There are ducks in the lake - lovely to sit and watch and feed them and beautiful gardens to walk through. We have some amazing memories and photos from here. Loved it. The Planetarium... More

Beautiful decorated parks and gardens are the paradise for visitors to rest and spend leisure time outside, especially during the sunny weekends (do not forget to use sunblocks!!!). It's a great place for family walks, meditation and contemplation of nature. If you love roses, or simply want a quiet break during your trip to Buenos Aires, the rose garden El... More

I quite enjoyed relaxing here because it offers a welcome respite from the traffic and noise of Buenos Aires. It is beautifully maintained, and the flowers are in a wide variety of colors. It is essential to come here to relax a bit.

This picturesque garden is off the tourist track, filled mostly with locals spending some time away from the fast pace of Buenos Aires. Was a welcome retreat.

If you want to get away from the urban sprawl, just relax in the rose garden for a few hours. You get your zen back.

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
