This garden is different from the others in the Bosques of Palermo...it has a very serene beauty that leaves you staring for hours. Definitely a great place to go for a run, chat with friends, even take their little boat ride. You'll see dozens of people exercising here, and unlike running on a track or down the street, your eyes... More

All sorts of stuff here. Beyond the beautiful rose gardens there are also ponds, statues, and open spaces. It's a big place for people on runs or rollerblades. Nice way to spend an afternoon

This was a beautiful garden full of roses. Our trip was nearly into winter and still there were many roses in bloom. It was a great place to sit or to take photos. Beautiful.

This place is outta this world. So green and open spaces. Beautiful and romantic place, a place to take your shoes off and relax, or have a picnic. Very nice during April if the sun is out.

It is really the main Buenos Aires lung!!! Lots of trees, green everywhere, a swan lake (or duck lake, nealy the same) rowing boats. You can ride bikes, or do some jogging. Is has a sorounding 1 mile circuit where an astonishing amount of people attend every day to improve their lives by running. Im one of them!!

I have been going on a regular basis to Paseo del Rosedal, since 1991, and it stills take my breath away. I highly recommend to vist this Park (Palermo), at least once, if you are ever in Buenos Aires. My favorite place in the Park is the white Helenic Bridge.

Beautiful roses, pretty man-made lake, trees, and gardens lead to a relaxing afternoon. I really enjoyed seeing the locals enjoying themselves, and I felt a part of the local community for the afternoon.

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
