If you are in the area, definitely stop by. Unlike other attractions in BA, this is not free, but the admission was very modest (less than $2 I believe). There are koi and you can buy food for them. The Japanese Gardens offer a great city escape right in the hub of Buenos Aires. There is a small admission fee, which includes an un-timed visit in the gardens and access to the restaurant. The plants, sculptures and scenery is beautiful and truly a great for a city getaway, right there in the city. more

The entrance fee is $5 pesos (approx. $2.50 dollars)...It's so calm and beautiful in this place...Lovely little lakes filled with Koi fish...And the landscaping is just gorgeous...Well worth the inexpensive entrance fee....I loved it... more

The Jardín Japonés was very sweet - lovely to look at and a nice little wander, or a bit of a bask in the sunshine. However - don't come in the week - there are lots of groups of school children who just spoil the tranquility with all their shouting. Its best on a weekend. more
