The actual antiques are over-priced but the whole area around the market offers so many bargains if you go to the right places. There's a disguised shopping area way past the market on the left hand side that offers leather jackets and goods at reasonable prices. We went to the sunday market and it was amazing. there were so many vendors and tons of people. In general its a lot of junk but a good place to buy souvenirs if you need them. A fun afternoon in the city! More

San Telmo market is great on a Sunday but the key is to sort the tourist stalls from the local merchants. There are great antiques here if that's what you're looking for. this is a must go if u are in BAs for the weekend. the main square has many little tents selling souvenirs and arts & craft. However, the hightlight are the locals who dress up as movie/cartoon characters (captain america, superwoman etc) and you can take pictures with them.
