I was visiting Buenos Aires with my college age children, and wanted to take a day for photos. I booked a private photo tour with Day Clicker. Paloma was my guide, and she took me through Chacarita. Communications were clear, and the tour met all my expectations. Paloma gave many details about Chacarita as we were walking around, and also... More

I had an absolutely wonderful time with Day Clicker. Amelia was out of the country so I went around Buenos Aires with Paloma, her assistant and another professional photographer. Paloma is a native Argentine so she had a vast knowledge of the city, politics, restaurants, culture, and obviously language. We had wonderful conversations throughout our walks together. We covered quick... More

I can't say enough good things about my private tour with Amelia, the found of Day Clicker Photo Tours. I told her what I wanted to shoot, and we had a lovely day enjoying the Palmero neighborhood. She took me to her favorite streets and places and ran interference in talking to shopkeepers about shooting in their shop. The Argentinians... More

I absolutely loved my private photography tour with Amelia! From the time I first inquired, she was very prompt at responding to my emails and questions. It helps that she is both the owner and the person responsible for the tours, so you are never having to deal with anyone else. She made sure to find out what my photography... More

I was in Buenos Aires on Business and had a free day before my flight returned me back to Canada. I checked the web site for a photo tour as I started taking photography seriously over the last year. Chose Day Clicker Photo and had an amazing time seeing some sites with the Amelia, the owner/operator of Day Clicker. She... More

I took a tour with Amelia through Buenos Aires's Recoleta neighborhood. The tour lasted from around 11am to 4pm. We met at a small cafe then proceeded to explore the area on foot. She helped me see things in a whole new way and I know I'll be using many of her tips in the future. If you love photography... More

While in Buenos Aires, I did both the iphone tour with Paloma and the Villa Crespo tour with Amelia. This organization is class act. I learned so much from both of them. It didn't feel like a standard, packaged workshop. I felt like I got focused, individualized attention every step of the way. I learned a lot and had a... More

I took a private tour in order to learn how to use my new camera and to have some practice shooting in the streets. I had a brief lesson and then we start shooting in the streets of Palermo, BA. Amelia, my guide and teacher, was great. She´s very professional and patient! I had a great time taking pictures and... More

I'd arranged a surprise engagement photo session and they helped plan and execute everything perfectly from the story, the location and the photos. They also provided all the photos online (dropbox) very quickly. I'd recommend Day Clicker Photo Tours for any fun photo session in BSAS to anyone! Communication and quality are top-notch! Andrew

My wife has started to enjoy her photography, and after recently buying a digital SLR, and using the manual settings rather than just 'point and shoot' she was losing a bit of confidence. We stopped through BA as part of a bigger trip and met up with Amelia who showed us a great morning, showed us some of the less... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
