I bought a new camera and I wanted to learn how to use it properly and take more creative photos. Amelia took me to places that as a local I have never been before. Not only did I learn how to use my camera with her simple instructions, I feel better about taking more interesting photos. It was a veeery... More

Amazing knowledge about photography and great personality of Amelia made the tour so interesting and with so much good energy! We had a walk around trying to experiment with the cameras, composition and to catch the moment which is so important in street photography! Amelia's experience helped me discover new possibilities of my camera and the places she took me... More

We had a fun, informative, casual lesson and stroll thru the Soho district of Buenos Aries. It was amazing how many unique photo opportunities we encountered in a somewhat simple setting and general pace of the tour.

Spent a day with Amelia wandering around a beautiful barrio in Buenos Aires. Amelia is very knowledgable and enthusiastic and she will give you as much instruction (or as little) as you like. We walked an area she is very familiar with and as a result, I met several locals she knows. Would highly recommend!

I came back from this tour stoked to take better travel photos and as my boyfriend said, with a definite improvement in my photos overall. Amelia is an excellent and natural teacher with extensive knowledge in photography including post-processing your photos. We explored a cute neighborhood of Buenos Aires and she helped me try new techniques with my DSLR camera.... More

This is a "must do" tour. Amelia is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and patient. She will take you to some neat and funky locations where you can experience an authentic side of Buenos Aires. I have some photographic experience, nonetheless Amelia was able to provide many helpful tips and suggestions. A highly enjoyable day with a great and fun teacher!

Spending an afternoon with Amelia was fun and informative. I only have an iPhone for shooting photos right now, so the "lesson" in advance of walking around and taking photos was shorter than it would be for people with manual cameras. I learned how to compose and take more interesting photos. We then spent time editing a few and she... More

Amelia at Day Clicker tours took my photos from novice and boring to creative and definitely more advanced. She taught how to work with the most important settings on my camera and how to work with light. She had some great ideas on taking creative shots and I'm having a blast walking around the city and trying them out! As... More

My friends and I organised a private tour with Amelia in the Palermo district. All 3 of us had different levels of knowledge and different cameras but Amelia went through how to get the best out of all our camera and explore creativity! I had so much fun and learnt so much. I love the photos I have taken and... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
