A really fun evening with great food, fun staff, yummy wine and information about Argentina that is useful for the average tourist. Go at the beginning of your trip (for the food and cultural education) but you are then likely to be disappointed with most food afterwards. They must do something about the women's bathroom. You have to practically stand... More

The staff are fun & professional & want to show you a good time. The food is delicious, so is the wine. It was a great night. Although the price may be a little out of a backpackers price range, it was worth every penny.

we did the argentine experience for dinner and the cocktail making part before dinner. both were wonderful - especially the dinner. we met some great people, had lots of fun being involved in making empanadas and having some wonderful food and wine! highly recommend this... would probably give the cocktail part a miss next time..but it is a bit of... The staff were fun and knowledgeable, my wine was excellent and my glass was never empty, the food was brilliant (superb steak) and our table had guests from all over the world so the conversation was lively and interesting. We learned how to make empanadas, interpret Argentinian sign language, order steak properly and make mate (Argentinian drink). I couldn't recommend... More

The Argentine Experience is definitely worth the time and money. Definitely do the cocktail prequel before the dinner. It is very entertaining. The food is great. Learn a little about Buenos Aires. Meet people from different countries. It doesn't get much better.

I suggest that you experience the "Experience" early on in your trip to Buenos Aires because amongst all the joking around there will be some travel tips that will help you enjoy Argentina even more. We were probably the most senior persons there but we were welcomed with open arms. The events planned were delivered by lively young people and... More

I was travelling solo in Buenos Aires and fancied a change from dinner for one. I noticed The Argentine Experience on a list of restaurants at my hotel and decided to give it a try. I had a great night! It was an excellent opportunity to meet people. The staff were fantastic. I didn't drink wine so asked for beer,... More

We would recommend this experience to anyone. We identified wine aromas, mixed wine cocktails, made some interesting empanadas and ate the best steaks of our lives. Learning to make and drink mate made us feel like Argentines. Plus we enjoyed the company of some marvelous young people from three different countries at our dinner table. Staff was helpful and entertaining.... More

I recently moved to Buenos Aires, two of my friends (a couple, one from Poland, the other from the UK) came to stay for two weeks over Christmas and New Year's Eve - the pressure was on to find something very special for NYE! A colleague recommended the Argentine Experience, at first I thought it might be a bit OTT... More

Easily the best thing we done in BsAs. We started late afternoon with the mixology class, which is a very good ice breaker and quite informative as well. You get to try 3 different wine cocktails and then try your hand at making your favourite one. After that we moved upstairs and the rest of the group started to come.... More
