A fascinating glimpse into the vibrant street art subculture of Buenos Aires. Very interesting to leave the more tourist-trodden parts of the city and have a chance to explore some less-known neighborhoods. Sofia the guide is engaging, and very knowledgable and helpful, and of course the artwork is incredible!

Matt was great is showing us around some of the newest projects in the street art scene and also explain how they get to happen. Good to see such projects are born from people that appreciate this type of art and want to make their neighborhood unique. It's definitely a different way to see BA! Definitely recommend it.

Despite the torrential rain this was a superb tour and I thoroughly recommend it to everyone. The guide, Sophia was really knowledgeable but presented the information in a very accessible manner for non experts! Great to see different neighbourhoods and the pace and amount of information was exactly spot on. Also a great way to meet other like-minded travellers.

I took this tour on July 23rd. Our guide Sofia was friendly and very knowledgable. I had zero knowledge about the subject before the tour and left with a decent understanding. I highly recommend this tour. Thank you, Sofia!

I couldn't believe my eyes...such amazing street art by various artists from around the world. I did the 'North" tour which started off in the Palermo neighborhood of Buenos Aires. I should note that this was a walking tour with a couple train rides in between, nothing strenuous.

We were very skeptical starting this tour. We said if they are 15 minutes late we are gone. They were late but what a wonderful tour. I have a new appreciation for amazing art and the depth of passion these artists put into their work. It is not just punks having it out with a wall vs spray paint but... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
