I went to on the tour as I had become interested in street art and all the murals in Buenos Aires walking around the city. The tour was fantastic and opened up the world of street art to me. Our guide, Sofia, was very knowledgeable and passionate. The tour I did was in the north of BA, an area I... More

The graffitimundo tour was my first choice, but they were fully booked. I settled for the BA Street Art tour instead. The two 20 something guides were US expats, so no language problem. The walking tour was in Villa Urquiza and Coghlan, two neighborhoods I would not have visited otherwise. The tour started with two huge murals covering several stories... More

Thanks for your comment. We have a 'Biggest Murals Tour' on Wednesdays at 2pm that starts in San Telmo visiting Barracas, La Boca and Monserrat and includes the largest mural in Argentina by Alfredo Segatori. If you were disappointed by the size of the murals you saw on our walking tour, we'd be happy to invite you to come along... More

We did this tour on our first day in Buenos Aires and from it learned so much about the city's history and people. Sofia was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic on the subject, and the afternoon flew by. She has given us information on other murals in the city to check out, so we will be continuing our Buenos Aires street... More

Living in Buenos Aires you can't help notice the abundance of murals and graffiti that saturate the walls. To find out more about them, I spent two days with BA Street Art Tours visiting walls in the north and south of the city. Both Matt and Sophia have an infectious passion for the art and a talent for telling the... More

Something different to do instead of doing all the same old touristy stuff! Sofia our guide was extremely knowledgable. I knew nothing about street art before this tour but now I have a new found appreciation for the art. Plus you get to explore a neighbourhood that you probably would not have visited! Highly recommend doing this tour.

I really enjoyed the street art tour. I didn't know anything about street art, but afterwards I had learnt a lot! It was a very enjoyable, relaxed 3 hours walking around lesser known neighbourhoods of BA!

a very good day was had by all. we were about 15 people from many places. i think everyone would say it was a well managed, informative, time. i would say that ordinarily a tourist would not see this part of BA so that makes it all the more interesting and worthwhile. do it.

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
