Based on TripAdvisor Cultura Cercana reviews, I booked my group of 52 passengers for Buenos Aires, Argentina (BA) full day tour on March 30, 2015. I contacted Fabian long before we went on our 7-night South America Cruise from Santos (Roundtrip), March 27, 2015 sailing date via RCCL Splendour of the Seas. Fabian always responded immediately to all my questions,... More

We had a tour scheduled for April 13. Unfortunately, after waiting outside for our tour guide for 30 minutes we finally learned that he would not be able to guide our tour due to a medical emergency. We fully understand that things happen and hope that he is fully recovered. What bothered us was three things. - An emergency number... More

My Husband and I spent a fabulous day in Buenos Aries with Mirta! She was extremely knowledgable, had a great personality, and made our full day tour both educational and memorable! We felt like we were traveling with an old friend who shared with us many aspects of the greater Buenos Aries region that most tourists never see! After we... More

We booked a private vehicle and guide for our tour of Buenos Aires. The guide was very knowledgeable and the vehicle was comfortable. He spoke very good English. The guide provided very good details of the history of the area and general information. When asked, he picked out a wonderful restaurant with outdoor seating shaded by mammoth rubber trees near... Andres was our guide for a thorough tour of BA. We were lucky that we booked the tour for a day that turned out to have a city wide strike. I don't know what we would have done if we didn't have Andres, and he was able to take us everywhere with no traffic in the streets! Andres took us... More

We had a long layover between flights, and wanted to see the city. It was a fabulous experience. From booking, meeting, and the tour itself, it was a very pleasant experience. Our guide was so flexible, and went way above and beyond. Would recommend this company.

Did 3 tours with CercanaCultura during our stay in Buenos Aires. Spend 2 days with Fabian to visit Buenos Aires. We also did the El Tigre tour with Andres and Mirta. We were 4 persons with a private tour only for us. Fabian was a great guide and took the time to explain all the history of the city while... More

Four of us booked a tour with Andres of the city highlights and enjoyed it immensely. The guide covered the main tourist areas of the city and gave us a good idea of which places we wanted to return to and see in more detail. Andres is a fun, knowledgable, high energy guide who both recommends the places to go... More

This was the first of three tours we had with Cultura Cercana; the other two tours were in Puerto Madryn and Montevedio. The four of us enjoyed all the three tours. We met our guide/driver Andre at the hotel. Andre is a nice and friendly person who speaks good English. We first went to Plaza de Mayo, and visited the... More

We had a great Full Day tour of Buenos Aires with Grisel. Booking with Fabian via email was straightforward, we agreed a price in US$ to be paid in cash at the end of the tour. Grisel was waiting for us at our hotel at the appointed time, with Carlos and the car ready outside. Grisel spoke wonderful English and... More

Neighborhood Profile
San Nicolas
Immersed in the sound of honking horns and the footsteps of busy office workers, the Microcentro area of San Nicolás is where visitors will encounter the true hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, walking down streets lined with office buildings and banks. The financial district is well-known for its vibrant atmosphere and unstoppable rhythm during office hours. After dark, the hubbub and migrates to Corrientes Ave., where theater lovers might start their evening at a play and end it in one of the many traditional pizzerias nearby.
