We were taken by boat to views the delta and see how people live on the islands. Fascinating. We had lunch at a private home and it was delicious. Tango was not the usual tourist show but one where the locals dance. Highly recommend.

Our visit to Buenos Aires was rather spontaneous and we were fortunate to have connected with Andreas and Mirta. We had a great day with them on 12/26 with a city tour to the port and then a boat trip on the delta to Andreas' family house. The homes on the river were most interesting to see. We dined and... Hot sunny Sunday in early December. Always wanted to show my wife the Delta, and the Gato Blanco where I had lunch in the late 90's while I was there on business. Andres & Mirta took us through San Isidro and Tigre, with a tour around the local market place (next time Andres - remember your hat and remind me... More

Our day with Andres and Mirta could not have been better. Beautiful boating in the waterways of the Tigre Delta on the way to Andres charming farm and home. Delicious grilled meal by Andres, lots of wine and fabulous flan by Mirta with dulce de leche. A tango demonstration by Andres and Mirta and we danced a few steps ourselves.... More

Andres and Mirta run a lovely tour of the Tigre Detlta - engaging you with lovely stories about BsAs, San Isidro and Tigre on the way to the delta...and once in Andres' beautiful hand-made home in the Tigre Delta, they wow you with lovely home-prepared meals, a great walk in the Delta's islands and a personal Tango lesson which I... We celebrated New Year's Day with this tour. Had a great time hanging out in the Delta with Andres and Mirta, and learning about "the crimes of Pancho." (Pancho is the sheep on Andres' farm, ha ha.)

Andres and Mirta already let us spend a most interesting, charming evening in a Milonga to watch original Tango dancing with private persons, families etc.- not a show, as we were not interested in Show-Tango! By talking about Tours to Tigre-Delta Andres informed us, that they are just arranging these trips as well and we booked happily the next day which became... More

We took this tour on our first full day in Argentina and had the most fantastic time. Everything was so personal and you felt Andreas really cared about making sure we were having a good time. The weather was perfect and we felt we were being taken to their home as friends rather than as tour guests. Much better than... More

My husband and I, both dancers with only 2 weeks to stay in Buenos Aires, were looking for something to get us out of the city for a day. What Mirta and Andres offer is that and so much more. With their warmth and friendliness, they shared with us an insider's look at some of the history of Buenos Aires,... More

Andres is a marvelous host, who really gives one a sense of the history of Buenos Aires and Tigre, where he takes you to his charming quinta, after about thirty minutes of a gorgeous, open aired motor launch ride, through Tigre's canals; seeing the stilted houses and flora and fauna of the huge river delta, pouring into the huge, El...
