My fiance and I took Teresita's empanada class during our 2 week trip to Argentina in November. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The food, wine and hospitality were all amazing. The class was very hands on and the instruction was easy to follow. Teresita is very warm and the type of person who can get... more

Teresita’s cooking class was one of the highlights of our trip to Buenos Aires. She is a warm gracious host with a lovely kitchen and home. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the kitchen with her and her crew, and (possibly even more so) relaxing in her gardens tasting regional wines, eating the empanadas we made, and discussing life in... more

Argentine empanadas are amazing, and getting step-by-step instructions to making them is the best kind of souvenir. Lessons take place in a cozy house located outside Buenos Aires. Teresita is charming and entertaining, and makes sure that everyone has a great time. The worst part of the experience is getting there and back. We took the transportation she offers and... more

Great way to experience a country is a cooking class. We took the advice on Trip Advisor and booked a class with Teresita and we loved it. We did the empanada class and made the best empanadas I have ever had. She made the class fun (even my cooking challenged husband loved it), her kitchen was an amazing place to... more

Whether Thailand, Italy or Buenos Aires, a cooking class is an excellent way to experience another culture through its culinary tradition. Three non-cooks almost completely reliant on Washington DC's restaurants for daily nourishment, my friends and I ventured outside inner BA, where there is a plethora of great eats, for a fantastic day of cooking with Teresita. It was an... more

My husband and I spent a week in Buenos Aires and the empanada cooking class with Teresita was our most memorable experience. Not only did we learn how to make corn and meat empanadas, but spending time in Teresita's home was a truly wonderful experience. Both my husband and I would highly recommend this class to anyone going to Buenos... more

I have always felt that the best way to learn about another culture is to learn about its food. Taking a day trip to Teresita's house for an empanada class was one of the more interesting and worthwhile things we did in our two weeks in BA. Not only did I learn new methods for cooking different kinds of empanadas,... more

I found Teresita's cooking classes online and signed up to take the empanada class on my 1st day in Buenos Aires. It was the perfect way to kick off my vacation. I was greeted by a warm, friendly Teresita at her adorable home on a residential street just outside of Buenos Aires proper. There were 2 other participants, both Americans,... more

While spending 2 weeks in Buenos Aires we experienced everything we could including a cooking class. I found Teresita on one of the reviews on Trip Advisor and decided to go for it, Teresita had her driver pick us up and drive us to her home, thankfully!! We'd have never found it on our own. The class was amazing. Every... more
