Argentina is famed for its rich and fruity Malbec along with other varietals. But if you can't make it up to the Mendoza wine region, let Mendoza meet you in Buenos Aires!

Anuva Wines carefully hand-picks boutique wines from Argentina, such as fruity Malbec, Bonarda and Argentina's flagship white wine, Torrontes. They do daily wine tastings in English, Spanish and Portuguese from their tasting loft in Palermo Soho.

Think a glass of malbec accompanied by Spanish chorizo, assorted cheeses and carne empanadas! Tastings are relaxing, personal, and conducted by a friendly and fun Anuva Sommelier.

An Anuva Tasting Includes:

● 5 limited production wines from boutique Argentine wineries paired with 5 traditional Argentine Tapas

● A fun, informative chat about the different wines, where they come from and the history of wine in Argentina

● Option to ship your favorites to your home in United States and Australia

A fantastic place where you are in tasteful local get to enjoy fine wine from some of Argentina's wine-provinces. The tasting is led by knowledgeable and pleasant person and the atmosphere is comfortable and familiar.

This was a lovely way to spend an afternoon in BA, the wine was good and the information provided was excellent. The host was very knowledgeable and the food pairings were great. Upon reflection though, it was a very expensive afternoon for what it was, either the food should have been a meal or there should have been more types... More

Lovely way to wile away a couple of hours drinking wine and snacking on tapas. They offer 5 wines and 5 tapas and for us that was lunch. Host was knowledgable and charming.

My friend and I were just in BA in Palermo Soho area and were looking to do some wine tasting. We found Anuva and walked over to their store. If you do not make an appointment, do not hesitate to ring the bell. We were greeted by Diego who explained the tastings & times. We came back a few hours... More

We loved this wine tasting experience. Not only do you get yummy wines, you also get great food to go with it. The wines are reasonable (under $30) and if you get a case, shipping to the US is free. We really enjoyed Diego-he was perfect. This is a great way to spend some time in Argentiba

We had a nice afternoon here. Bertie knows his stuff and gave us some good and interesting info about the wine regions and the wine themselves. I also liked the tapas that complement the wines (and the information why that is). If you like the wine, they have no problem to pour you some more! We were the last to... More

The wine and flight tasting was good. The wines they chose matched well with the tapas. The structure and location of the tasting was very good. Very clean, cultural and professional at the same time. This tasting is a little bit more than what what we would normally pay however we minded less due to the expectional service by Diego.... Had an acceptable wine tasting led by Cara, an English woman living in Buenos Aires. The price was fine for the amount of wine, food and explanation they provide, but she was quite pushy with wine sales. We bought a few bottles to ship home to Chicago, and really felt betrayed and scammed when we entered wine shops later in... More

I have reviewed your comment and it is not possible that you visited our wine tasting loft in January. Cara, our only female sommelier, hosted one tasting thus far in the month of January. During this one tasting, all wine purchased and sent to the United States had the cost of shipping included free of charge, and furthermore, was only... More

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
