Tastings are normally in English (Spanish is ok on request), and at basically any time during the day or evening. Normally groups are quite intimate, but they also will take larger groups if requested in advance. The wine tasting generally starts on time and lasts about 90 minutes to two hours. They serve 5 limited production wines from boutique Argentine wineries and pair them with 5 specifically picked foods (locally produced food pairings). Wine is poured by the half-glass, with plenty of refills for anyone who wants them, but also no pressure to finish any glass. Food portions are snack-size, so you can still go out for dinner after a tasting.) They also offer private tastings to people who only want to taste reds, or malbecs, etc., as long as the special requests are put in ahead of time.If you like the wines (and you probably will!), you can purchase bottles on the spot, have them sent to your hotel, or have them shipped to a U.S. address. (Anuva offers a nifty direct-to-home shipping service.) You can also join their wine club, whereby they'll ship you a selection of Argentine wines to your home every quarter. You can sign up for a tasting online or call them with questions--they're very responsive and helpful.Overall, a great opportunity to taste Argentina's wonderful wines in little time and at a very low cost. « less

I attended this wine tasting last week, and thought it was amazing. There were only 8 of us there, which meant that we got a very personalized discussion of each wine and the food pairings from our host, Cara. I was attending on my own, but never felt awkward or left out. Those running the show clearly are invested in... More

We tried the wine tasting on a Saturday night as a couple and we met 5 others there. Diego was a great host and very knowledgable about the wine regions, history of the wineries and the wines themselves. The tapas that accompanied the wines were excellent in their pairings and really helped us to understand some of the subtle differences... More

They were very generous with their wine and it we learned a lot about local wine and culture. Met some great people that we ended up stumbling to a restaurant with afterwards for dinner!

My friend and I attended this tasting in Palermo and absolutely loved it. It is a bit deceiving at first because the location is in a nondescript building with no signs. Truthfully that adds to the entire experience. Our host was amazing and the tastings were generous. One of the best parts is that you get to sit at a... More

We had a wonderful time at the Anuva Wine tasting event. Our host was really knowledgeable and chatty and pitched the session perfectly to our group. Good wines and good food (lots of it!)

We went with a friend from out of town. We had an amazing time! I love the feel to the place. The wine is tasty! - I really liked the buttery taste of the malbec. Also, the staff are a bunch of great guys that are very passionate and full of wine knowledge as well as very generous with suggestions... More

A friend and I went since we wouldn't be getting out to Mendoza while in Argentina. Our host was excellent and brought great energy and knowledge to the tasting. All of the wines we tried were fantastic and the food pairings were quite nice. I would recommend this to wine novices and experts alike.

I had just a wonderful time with my tasting. Cara was kind, knowledgable, helpful and a lot of fun. I have done many tastings before, but I really felt comfortable making comments, asking questions and taking my time with this one. I didn't ever feel rushed, and Cara even went out of her way to help answer questions I had... More
