Description: Argentina is famed for its rich and fruity Malbec along with other...
Argentina is famed for its rich and fruity Malbec along with other varietals. But if you can't make it up to the Mendoza wine region, let Mendoza meet you in Buenos Aires! Anuva Wines carefully hand-picks boutique wines from Argentina, such as fruity Malbec, Bonarda and Argentina's flagship white wine, Torrontes. They do daily wine tastings in English, Spanish and Portuguese from their tasting loft in Palermo Soho. Think a glass of malbec accompanied by Spanish chorizo, assorted cheeses and carne empanadas! Tastings are relaxing, personal, and conducted by a friendly and fun Anuva Sommelier. An Anuva Tasting Includes: ● 5 limited production wines from boutique Argentine wineries paired with 5 traditional Argentine Tapas ● A fun, informative chat about the different wines, where they come from and the history of wine in Argentina ● Option to ship your favorites to your home in United States and Australia

The venue is a little hidden gem behind a black door in Palermo. Climb the stairs and you enter a warm and airy area surrounded by wines. There are several tables that can host upto 8 persons each. We were introduced to the history of Anuva wines by our hosts and the evening's tasting was explained in detail. Each wine... More

Wow just wow. I have been to several different wine tasting in several different countries and this is the first one to pair food with the wine. Diego is awesome and such a great guy. I am not much of a wine drinker but I have found a wine or two that I actually like. When I tasted a few... More

I was only in BA for a limited time so I could not go to Mendoza for a wine experience in Argentina. I wanted something in BA that would allow me to experience the wines of Argentina and the Anuva wine experience was perfect. I found it on trip advisor and after reading the reviews decided to try it. There... More

My friend Denise and I were recommended to enjoy a great wine tasting while visiting Buenos Aires during a recent trip and so we chose Anuva Wines in the chic Palermo Soho neighborhood. The location was amazing and we loved it so much, we went back to the neighborhood three more times during our stay. The team at Anuva, led... More

Their wine tasting was very informative, fun and full of delicious food and wine. We were with a great random group of people from all over and were able to chat, laugh and ask questions. The room is beautiful and we ordered some bottles for delivery, which arrived about a week later! They were also able to recommend a milonga... More

The sommelier spoke English which worked well for our group. Most were knowledgeable about wines, so there wasn't a lot of time spent on the basics. I've been on wine tours and tastings, but this was the first one I've done with food pairings. The combination with food made such a huge difference and really highlighted how this can affect... We booked our Anuva wine tasting on the first night of our visit to BA and we were so glad we did. It was a fun, relaxing way to start our trip. 5 great wines paired with fantastic food. Diego was our host, he was fun, informative and relaxed. Just enough information about the wine and region without being stuffy... More

Diego was a great host and the wine was delicious! The place is a little bit hard to find so I would recommend giving yourself some extra time before arrival. We tasted 5 different wines paired with 5 different foods--so come hungry! This was one of the highlights of my trip to Buenos Aires and I definitely recommend it!

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
