Tastings are normally in English (Spanish is ok on request), and at basically any time during the day or evening. Normally groups are quite intimate, but they also will take larger groups if requested in advance. The wine tasting generally starts on time and lasts about 90 minutes to two hours. They serve 5 limited production wines from boutique Argentine wineries and pair them with 5 specifically picked foods (locally produced food pairings). Wine is poured by the half-glass, with plenty of refills for anyone who wants them, but also no pressure to finish any glass. Food portions are snack-size, so you can still go out for dinner after a tasting.) They also offer private tastings to people who only want to taste reds, or malbecs, etc., as long as the special requests are put in ahead of time.If you like the wines (and you probably will!), you can purchase bottles on the spot, have them sent to your hotel, or have them shipped to a U.S. address. (Anuva offers a nifty direct-to-home shipping service.) You can also join their wine club, whereby they'll ship you a selection of Argentine wines to your home every quarter. You can sign up for a tasting online or call them with questions--they're very responsive and helpful.Overall, a great opportunity to taste Argentina's wonderful wines in little time and at a very low cost. « less

One of the more enjoyable and informative tastings I've been to. The tasting room was a beautifully decorated loft with lots of light and comfortable large wooden tables for us to sit around. Our group of 4 was joined by another couple which made the experience all the more fun as they gave us plenty of free time to chat... More

We booked this wine tasting on a day when practically all of Argentina was on strike, so we were first of all quite happy that they were even open. There was a group of 7 of us there, all eager to try some great wines and have some fun. Between us we were generously served about 12 bottles of 5... More

A group of 10 of work friends booked the wine tasting at Anuva and we all had a great time. The staff was fantastic and the quality of the wines was very good. This tasting is a great way to learn about the local wines and have a fun event at the same time.

I had an amazing time at the Anuva wine tasting. The location was right in the middle of Palermo, and the space was open and inviting. We sampled 5 different wines, 2 whites and 3 reds. The host did an amazing job describing the wines and the regions they came from. She had great energy and made for a fun... More

We were in Buenos Aires on Christmas Day and found that, unsurprisingly, a great many of the usual attractions (museums, historical sites, restaurants, etc.) were closed. What to do on a major holiday in a foreign city? We ran across the Anuva Wines name on-line and found that they had wine tastings scheduled, despite the fact that it was a... More

So the mystery starts when you try to book. Just where this interesting wine-tasting concept is located is not revealed until you pay for your visit. Even then, address in hand, it can be hard to find this well- disguised location. Although one of our group was frustrated iabout the hunt, I found it all part of the elan. This... More

Such a fun afternoon. Diego ran this tasting and was informative and funny and professional. We had a nice group, tapas well well presented, pours were extremely generous. Well worth the price of the admission. Beautiful loft space in Palermo. Would do this again. Would like to try the dinner tasting next time. Well done!

This was one of the best experiences I had during my stay in Buenos Aires. All the wines tasted are boutique wines. The pairings were perfect. Our host was both knowledgable and funny. It was an intimate setting with a small group. Worth every penny. My boyfriend wasn't much of a wine lover, but this experience converted him. Highly recommended.... More

My friend and I kicked off our arrival to Buenos Aires with a wine tasting at Anuva. We reserved online and didn't have problems finding the place (read your confirmation email for directions). There were three tables of about eight people in a loft and it was definitely full that night (6pm reservation). Cara was our wonderful and energetic host... More

Great time. Was seated at a table of 9 for a 5- wine tasting with appetizer food pairings. The hostess, Cara, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Had a really fantastic time meeting fellow travelers and learning about/drinking the wine. Definitely a great way to start an evening.
