Argentina is famed for its rich and fruity Malbec along with other varietals. But if you can't make it up to the Mendoza wine region, let Mendoza meet you in Buenos Aires! Anuva Wines carefully hand-picks boutique wines from Argentina, such as fruity Malbec, Bonarda and Argentina's flagship white wine, Torrontes. They do daily wine tastings in English, Spanish and Portuguese from their tasting loft in Palermo Soho. Think a glass of malbec accompanied by Spanish chorizo, assorted cheeses and carne empanadas! Tastings are relaxing, personal, and conducted by a friendly and fun Anuva Sommelier. An Anuva Tasting Includes: ● 5 limited production wines from boutique Argentine wineries paired with 5 traditional Argentine Tapas ● A fun, informative chat about the different wines, where they come from and the history of wine in Argentina ● Option to ship your favorites to your home in United States and Australia

The sommelier spoke English which worked well for our group. Most were knowledgeable about wines, so there wasn't a lot of time spent on the basics. I've been on wine tours and tastings, but this was the first one I've done with food pairings. The combination with food made such a huge difference and really highlighted how this can affect... We booked our Anuva wine tasting on the first night of our visit to BA and we were so glad we did. It was a fun, relaxing way to start our trip. 5 great wines paired with fantastic food. Diego was our host, he was fun, informative and relaxed. Just enough information about the wine and region without being stuffy... More

Diego was a great host and the wine was delicious! The place is a little bit hard to find so I would recommend giving yourself some extra time before arrival. We tasted 5 different wines paired with 5 different foods--so come hungry! This was one of the highlights of my trip to Buenos Aires and I definitely recommend it!

We booked a tasting in the afternoon and it was wonderful! The place is really welcoming, very well arranged and especially, not intimidating, for beginners like us. The host was extremely enthusiastic, fun and knew her products really well We had an amazing time there and we learned a lot. We would definitely go back if we were to return... More

Wow! This wine tasting was awesome. We booked through Viator and it was very reasonably priced. Cara was our host and she was super nice and helpful. You get to try five different wines and they are paired with food. Don't eat before you go. We loved the Malbecs and even became members of the wine club. I highly recommend... More

Book online for a wine tasting. Diego is so knowledgeable and a great host. The surroundings are beautiful. For your package $26 you get 5 wines and delicious nibbles to complement the wine. The wines are amazing. Tour started at 3pm or 6pm. Really recommend it with friends to enjoy a tasting.

My fiance and I spent our first afternoon in Buenos Aires at the stunning Anuva Wines loft for a wine tasting, which completely exceeded our expectations. Along with an incredibly knowledgeable sommelier to guide us, the range of wines was absolutely stunning, as were the delicious accompanying tapas. Not only did we enjoy drinking the wines, we also learned a... More

My husband and I are by no means wine connoisseurs, but had the best time here sampling the wines of the region! We heard about Malbec and its history in Argentina and were incredibly excited to learn more about wines from an expert. Another couple was scheduled to do the tasting with us, but canceled, so we had the afternoon... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
