Kind and cordial, Joaquin attended us and offered the best in Argentinean wines. It's an obligatory point to visit when you stay at BsAs. Highly recommended !

A colleague and I first discovered this shop in 2010 when we found ourselves stuck in BA waiting for airports in Washington, D.C. to restore service due to a major snow storm. Very warm, friendly and knowledgeable staff with an endearing passion for Argentina's wine industry. We spent hours learning about the history of wine in Argentina and many of... More

The entire staff at JA! is welcoming and knowledgeable. Joaquin is a riot and always willing to pour a taste. All the wines suggested were perfect - it was such a fun place to visit and try new wines. A great way to stop at any time to enjoy Argentine wines and a good laugh.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Great selection of Argentina wines at very reasonable prices. Convenient location, just off Costa Rica, if you are in Palermo Soho area. Look for the sign "JA!". The sign out front indicates wine tastings are offered. When we stopped in, we found we would need to schedule a tasting versus doing one on spur of... More

I came to BA with the idea of tasting good wines in different restaurants; to my surprise most restaurants sell generic wines, so "JA!" Was perfect. I ended up going twice and buying 6 unique bottles or Argentinian wine with the help of their nice staff. I highly recommend this place plus they sell really nice cheese and spices too.

This is an attractive wine store with a wide selection of South American wines situated in the throng of Palermo. The wine tasting takes place on Thursdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and is held in a special area at the front of the shop. You need to phone ahead to reserve a space or it gets booked up. We had... One of the most complete wineries in Buenos Aires. Joaquin (Joaco, as he wants to be known) is an excellent host. Fully advisable.

We stumbled upon this place looking for a different wine shop but I'm so glad we ended up in here. We were welcomed in by Daniel who was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful in guiding us with our wine choices. We told him our rough budget and how many bottles we wanted to buy and he sorted out the rest.... More

The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling.
