Try and avoid July/August if you can. We holidayed here in July and it was very crowded and busy and it was not a cheap day. We had to pay to get in, pay for the sun loungers, parasol. The food and drinks are very expensive once you get in. If I was to go again, I would go in... More

It's a real gem! You can go to the beach part and hire sunbeds/umbrella or take a bus to Sugar Beach or Sun City which are private beach resorts. At the private beach clubs you pay about £6 per person for the day but you get your sunbeds in with the cost and if you take the free bus which... More

We stayed at the Sun City Hotel in Oludeniz and this hotel has a private beach towards the end of the Blue Lagoon. It was the best place to swim as Oludeniz beach is very stony and gets deep too quickly for young children.

On the public side it was a bit like a shanty town, but we enjoyed our time on a pedalo and we just went the once. It was great from the air.

We visited the seahorse beach after a first failed trip to the blue lagoon resulted in us going to the section where the locals must visit. Rented a pedalo and kayak here for a very reasonable price, and enjoyed our day. The snorkelling is disappointing because the water is not as clear as we expected (it was very cloudy in... More

Shuttle bus from hotel directly to the lagoon (Seahorse Beach) very efficient and free. Beautiful scenery, nice calm water and pedalos and canoes to hire. Prices were very reasonable. Thought prices for drinks were a little overpriced.Took pedalo out for an hour and saw turtles.

Our second visit to the Blue Lagoon Hotel and once again we were not disappointed. A big thank you to George, Tanju, Mustafo, Billy and all the staff for their warm welcome. They cannot do enough to make their guests feel at home and enjoy their holiday. We stayed on a B and B basis and the food was good.... More
