We visited Vredenheim and did the cat and wine combination package. Their wild cats (even though it would have been nice if all wild could live in the wild) are well looked after and efforts were made to show us all of the cats even when they were hiding out a bit. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The wine... More

Vredenheim is a fantastic place for the entire family. It has beautiful large grounds with amazing landscaping. There are a few picnic tables dotted around the gardens (picnics available at Hudson's, must be pre-booked) the staff at Hudson's were very obliging as we hadn't booked and gave us a lovely outside table right next to the jungle gym. The kids... More

What a pleasant surprise. We went to Vredenheim on Saturday and it was lovely. Gorgeous atmosphere, loads of space for kiddies to run around and enjoy the sun. Food was good we had a lovely and very polite waitress however there is room for improvement. Would love to have a family picnic there some time although I feel the picnic... More

We had our wedding here on the 5th April 2014. Firstly everyone raved about the absolutely gorgeous scenery that Hudson's has to offer! It is simply put.. Breath taking! The Staff were so friendly and so helpful and full of cheer, not one miserable person or face! The food well... If you have eaten at Hudson's need I say more,,,... More

The Big Cats tour was nice, place so scenic and the little lake makes for a tranquil setting. The wine tasting was pathetic. We went and had lunch at the Hudson's restaurant and the service was disappointing. There was a function going on and understandably they may be short of staff but even when there was staff around, they ignored... More

The cat park is awesome, guided tours are very informative. Cosy restaurant, love Barrique food. Wines are well priced and friendly staff

We did the wine tasting before going on a guided tour of the Big Cats Park. The most dissapointing wine tasting ever (despite the fact that the wines are quite good). We walked into the wine tasting centre/gift shop and were ignored. We than asked if we could do the wine tasting. The attendant said "yes" but nothing else, so... More

I must be honest, I wasn't too sure about going here when a family member booked a group of us to see the big cats and taste some wine. I'm not a fan of looking at animals in cages. We arrived early so decided to have some breakfast at the restaurant. The food was reasonably priced and very good value... More

We live in Stellenbosch and never knew about this place, but have often driven past and seen the wild animals. So we thought it time to have a look. The entrance has a nice feel, looks like a small version of Spier. Very pretty and nice, more laid back and less commercial. Beautiful gardens!! We arrived at the busy Barrique... More

This is a wine estate and Big Cats attraction as well as a restaruant. We arrived in time for the 1pm tour of the Cats and found out that it was also the feeding time tour which was a bonus. We saw Lion cubs and adults, Tigers, Leopard and Cheetah and although they were caged they looked to be well... More
