We were here yesterday for the wine tasting. That was a fun, the guys were helpful friendly and attentive. We thought to finish the whole experience we would pair the wine with lunch. We ask what time the restaurant closed and the guy said at 230 it was 1350 when we asked. Well my partner was picking up the wine... More

We did their informal wine tasting and bought like a dozen bottles. They have the best wine there. We went to some 8 different wine farms for tastings and simonsog was the only one we went twice to. The informal tasting is just 35 rand and you get to taste 5-6 wines of your liking. We were attended by a... More

Simonsig is not only the Birthplace of MCC in South Afirca, it also has a fantastic range of wines to suit all tastes. Our wine waiter was well informed and delightful. There was also a band playing in the back which added to the great vibe which goes perfect with the beautiful setting. A must visit!

Great winetasting with very knowledgeable host that was also entertaining. We got to taste a large variety of great wines and needless to say left with some boxes in the booth of our car. Recommend; Chenin Blanc as fabulous value for money and the Redhill Pinotage, just a great wine.

When I was born, a star hung high in the sky above Stellenbosch. Only later in my life did I discover that the star was guiding me to Simonsig to enjoy the best wine tasting in the country. Excellent wines, wide variety, comfortable atmosphere and the best service. You are treated like royalty every step of the way. Simonsig's wine... More
