After a accurate and nice briefing of Tumi, the representative of Simonsig, we were invited to choose 5 wines from the list. The Redhill and Gewurztraminer tasted very well. We were challenged with a sixth wine by Tumi. A good suggestion of him! We loved the tasting and ambiance. Also we ordered a few boxes of wine. After to days... More

Great personal tour with Denzil. Tasted some really great wines. Champaign off the chart. Good down to earth hospitality.

Michael gave us a tour of the champagne and wine process. Just brilliant. Imagine the delight of penning a bottle right out of the cellar. Made our day spectacular!

By far my favorite Wine farm in Stellenbosch! We had a blast! Friendly service and a great knowledge about the wine. Its a beautiful estate and even in the Busiest Holiday season we had peace and quiet and it was not over crowned! We tastes some of the best wines and took some home with us! I loved this wine estate. The drive to the estate was beautiful with tall trees lining both sides of the road. The estate was peaceful and not too crowded. The wines were wonderful. Our server was very knowledgeable about the wines and the estate. Even though we were asked to choose only five wines for our tasting we were given... More

We stopped at Simonsig as it was inbetween two other wineries we planned to visit and it turned out to be our favorite. Spectacular grounds and views, outstanding wines and the restaurant was outstanding. Definitely worth a stop while in Stellenbosch!

Dropped in for some wine tasting and met the very enthusiastic and knowledgeable thumi. We enjoyed his introductions to the wines, he also allowed us to taste some special reserves that were excellent. The highlight for me is their straw wine (desert wine with unusual flavours) just had to buy some. Will certainly return for tastings

We visited Simonsig twice in March while touring South Africa and had excellent experiences on both occasions. We enjoy several of their wines, especially the sparklings. The highlight of the tastings was our contact with Tume, a young man whose passion for wine and sharing of his knowledge was inspiring. We learned more about the art of wine tasting from... More

I have visited Simonsig many times so u may consider this bias...but it's not. This winery has some of the best wines and very reasonable prices if u want to buy. Wine tasting is a memorable experience with the most friendliest staff. Your experience is homely and friendly. Request a wine cellar visit...really awesome
