We were recommended to go for dinner by our host in Stellenbosch. Not knowing what to expect we were blown away. The winery and restuarant were absolutely stunning and we recommend you arrive prior to sunset so that you can watch the mountains opposite as the sun sets while having a cocktail.

On our way to Franschoek we were advised to stop into this estate for a look around. On arrival we were met and given the grand tour of the estate. What a spot. No expense has been spared. After an intensive tour we then had the wine tasting. If I ever win the lotto I will definitely spend a night...

Absolute must visit even if just for a drink on the patio. The prices are however geared for the European market and you do get better food in Cape Town at much lower prices

This is a MUST STOP on your winery tours in this area. The views are just magnificent. From the drive up to the tasting room and restaurant - all is beauty. The wine tasting is likely like none you have ever done. I am not going into details on this because I don't want to spoil your experience.Go and enjoy..

There just aren't enough superlatives to describe Delaire. Service was the best I have EVER experienced. My wife actually cried with how beautiful this place is. This place was simple outstanding from any other place we visited during our 5 weeks stay in Cape Town.
Owners is as I understood a Dutch diamant trader, and this guy has a lot of money I guess, because everything is state of the art. From toilets to art on the walls. AMAZING.

Go here to visit Indochine which was easily the best dining experience we had on our 19 day trip. Great service, great food, use the opportunity to try news things. Nothing served here is bad.
