We decided to enjoy wine tasting today (Saturday) and arrived at the wine tasting center at about 10:15 am. Although it was open, and all the wines were on display, we could not find any staff. After five minutes, I gave up, drove off and telephoned the wine farm to complain. We returned, unannounced about two hours later. We opted... More

Neetlingshof has been offering Sunday buffets for many years, and have been consistent in the quality of everything on offer. The previous time we have been there, was in Summer and the place were packed. This time was on a cold winter's day, and we had one room just to ourselves. Since we were a group of 10, it suited... A beautiful estate with a number of buildings. They have a restaurant and a lovely tasting room that is huge. We found many of their wines to be a bit pricey by SA standards and did not find wine that impressed us. This is a very big operation by SA standards.

My second time to visit Neethlingshof, this time with a good friend and felt proud tondonso. was the perfect neat venue. Hygiene cleanliness were top key, Deidre our sommelier was excellent, just enough info, not pushy to make a sale, but talked honestly and with great informtion. Also didnt rush through our wine tasting selection but we could take our time and have... More

Excellent wine tasting. Offered a food and wine pairing. Very knowledgable staff who could answer all our questions. We also had a wonderful lunch in the restaurant.

we had good luck, no groups at the moment, so we got an individual tasting. 6 different wines for about 35 ZAR (as far as I remember), we got explanations for every wine, alltogeher good, even the wines were not sitifying for our taste, except the Maria, which is the flagship as a desert wine.

For the conclusion of our private wine tour our local friend and guide had chosen Neethlingshof Estate. And certainly she had saved the best for the end! Driving along the one kilometer long pine alley into the estate sets the tone. Nestled into a beautiful lush and serene historic Cape Dutch manor house environment Neethlingshof's concept follows - in my... More

What a beautiful setting this estate is set in. We ate here today for lunch and the views of the mountains are stunning. The gardens are an absolute joy and are picture perfect. We sat on the terrace and I had a veggie pasta and my dining partner had the sole which they said was cooked to perfection. We both... More

This wine farm is worth visiting because it is really beautiful and they have some really interesting wines. The only disappointing thing was they didn't have the canapé and wine tasting available as they didn't have anymore canapé's which I think is a little bit poor especially for going in the middle of the week. The service was really good.

We had had a very pleasant wine tasting with some nice wines. Well explained and with plenty of supporting material. Therefore we went for dinner as well to drink the same nice white wine: the six flowers. We had nice salad and a chicken liver dish, which were very nice. The fish that followed (kingklip) was also well prepared and... More
