My daugther's wedding!

It was perfect! Zorada Temmingh gave the most perfect organ playing! To have your wedding in this church is such a privilege!

The Dutch Reform Church is a nice looking building situated at the end of a busy street. The church itself is very nice and welcoming. The staff was nice upon arrival and the interior of the church is also nice to include stained glass windows. I would recommend a quick visit to the Dutch Reform Church if you are ever... More

It is the oldest church in Stellenbosch. Kind reception at the entrance, beautiful architecture and warm interiors conveyed a very pleasant and cozy atmosphere. Its surrounding garden is worth a little visit too.

Dropped in here to have a look around and was warmly greeted and made welcome. There is a little museum and a film was put on (comes in a variety of languages) with more information. A lovely little visit.

On Christmas morning we decided to attend church at the Stellenbosch "Moeder gemeente" as this church is also known. We were surprised to find ourselves seated in the street outside the church since the church was already full! What a wonderful experience to attend the ceremony with hundreds of other Christians, watching the event on the big-screen, praising and worshiping... More

Glorious steepled architecture, beautiful stained glass windows and respectful locals who love their church. I loved Stellenbosch with its wonderful atmosphere and locals who have religion and such a positive outlook.

We stumbled across the church during our exploration of Stellenbosch and just had to check it out. The architecture is really unique and the grounds are lovely. There are no entry fees but a donation to support the upkeep of the church is recommended.

What a pleasure to be able to visit the church and be welcomed by two people. The organ music is lovely and the interior majestic. The pulpit is certainly just unbelievable

It is a lovely church with manicured grounds. Compared to some of the ornate cathedrals that I have visited, it is a little plain. Of course, that is by design and it suits the sentiment of the congregation very well.
