Small enough to do with children. Very good exhibition on Pierneef, and other South African artists. Beautiful venue, gardens and sculpture outside.

I've lived in the Stellenbosch district for many years but only discovered this treasure last week. The Rupert Museum has the most amazing collection of artworks from our foremost South African artists - Irma Stern, Anton von Wouw, Preller, Pierneef right through to our more recent Batiss and Boonzaaier. Well worth a visit!

Spent a couple of peaceful hours here on a rainy morning in march. Beautiful collection, exceptional irma stern pieces, very reasonable entrance fee and good safe parking. An added bonus were the pernief panels on temporary loan.

The Rupert has a nice collection of South African art on display, located near downtown Stellenbosch. The collection is relatively small and can be seen in about an hour. Inexpensive admission fees. Worth a visit.

World class exhibit of one of the finest classic car collections in the world. On arrival we hopped onto a tram / car which gave us a scenic tour across the farms. No expensive has been spared in the museum itself which is clean and well maintained. The gardens and farms themselves are worthy of mention in a separate review...... More

Sizeable displays of several 20th Century South African artists including Irma Stern and Anton van Mouw. A short walk from the centre of Stellenbosch and well worth a visit.

I loved the sculptures by Anton van Wouw and the panels created for Johannesburg Station and many of the paintings too.

Small gallery with a variety of different styles. Some Irma Stern paintings and many others of her era. Well worth the visit as peaceful and not crowded.
