We visited last December, and my initial impressions were that it seemed more than a bit contrived. However, we did get to see big cats up close. I didn't realize that up close meant that I would be petting the head of a very large cheetah. Half the members of our group did take the opportunity to be with the... More

The staff were amazing and the animal incounters were a once in a life time experience. I have photos with cheetah's and lemurs. I would recommend this place to everyone.

I am an animal lover, and found the Cango Ranch just the place for me. The range of animals was terrific. And been an amateur photography, and especially in wild life, this was like heaven to me. Just felt the entrance price a bit steep. But overall a fantastic place to go.

Good and very insightful tour. The place is beautiful and is extremely well maintained. You will feel really good to learn how well they treat the animals here. A must go place for animal lovers.

First the good: the staff are lovely and knowledgeable (the free tours are worth it) and the animals generally seem pretty well cared for. The less good: it feels a lot like a zoo, and some animals (especially the white tiger) really didn't seem to have enough space. There's a mix of local and international animals (like lemurs, tigers etc.).... More

Spend hours taking pics of the big cats, especially the lions, cheetah and leopard. When the crowds left we just watched these cats in awe

If wild animals in "natural environment", snake park, "cat walk", "water park" for the kids sounds like your idea of fun, then I will recommend CWR. There is also enough places to buy something to eat, sit down and restaurant. Excellent value for money.

I am not really into zoos or animal parks for obvious reason, however when the animals are well cared for and loved then I am sort of ok with it, this little gem in oudtshoorn is one such a place. Staff are amazingly friendly and the tour guides well informed. I really enjoyed my time there and the experience with... More
