My visit to the Cango Wildlife Ranch has now become one of my fondest memories :) We were part of a tour group with a lady named Janet as our guide. She was exceptionally amazing and talented at her job, and educated us on many topics relating to the different animal and plant species. The feeling I experienced upon entering... More

We had a great day at the wildlife ranch. There are lots of orphaned, injured and/or endangered animals and our guide was very informative and entertaining. The experience to touch certain animals carries a small cost and we bought tickets to touch the cheetah and the tiger cubs. Unfortunately the organisation of this part of the experience needs to be... More

Thouroughly enjoyed our visit to Cango Wildlife Ranch. Our guide Duggy definately made our tour unforgetable. He is definately a asset to Cango. The animals are beautiful and all the information that you get on your tour very interesting. We will definately be back to do the crocodile cage diving experience in summer.

We visited the Cango Wildlife Ranch on July 1 2014 after spending the night at La Plume guesthouse. The staff at La Plume recommended CWR to us as a great opportunity for my 10 year old niece to see wildlife up close, before we went on safari at Lion Sands next to Kruger National Park. We were very pleased to... More

This was our ninth visit to the Cango Wildlife Reserve, and we still can't get enough! Staff members are well-trained, well-informed and very friendly. I saw a previous review refer to Cango as a wannabe Disney experience, and I can't disagree more. In fact, I have no idea what he's on about... Cango has breeding programmes for endangered species from... More

This attraction has become tacky and the effort to try and create a Disney-like experience has added to the terrible experience. It is not a South African wildlife experience. With Madagascar lemurs, Bengal tigers and Nile crocodiles in captivity there is nothing natural about it. My kids from Canada wanted close encounters with animals and they got that. Perhaps this... Dear Visitor, Although we are grateful that you have taken time to review us, we are undoubtedly disheartened by your opinion of our facility. We have no intention of creating a ‘Disney-like’ experience as we take enormous pride in being unique facility. You state that had a ‘terrible experience’ - I would be very grateful if you could make contact... More

This was the highlight of our day. We opted for the adventure package where you get to touch and pet the animals. The staff is very good. A very important point is for people to tip the staff not only at this ranch, but wherever you go in South Africa. Staff make peanuts and everyone needs to be able to... More

My Mom (80yrs) and I had an absolutely awesome time at the Cango Wildlife Ranch during our visit on Sunday, 3rd August 2014. It was so great to be told that there were wheelchairs available, when I first enquired about how much walking we would be doing, as my Mom has difficulty in walking too much. She would never have...
