To get to the actual waterfall is a little tedious - 11km drive on gravel road, scenery is nice but after a while gets boring. Then you reach the waterfall entrance, where you have to park and walk a bit to get to the waterfall, some stairs as well. You do not need to be fit for that though, but... More

We were the first visitors on site. The place was very peaceful and the waterfall is magnificent. If you want to make good pictures you have to be there on opening time, before the sun stands above the rocks.

Its a beautiful, powerful waterful with jagged rocks and stunning geography with cool shade and lovely pools to dip ypur toes in. However, it is difficult to get a spot to have a picnic and with small kids it was a challenge to have eyes in the back of my head. It's definitely worth the 11km drive on gravel and... More

Fantastic scenery and pathways to get to these falls. Water pouring down year in year out....non-stop. The road leading up to the parking area could do with some repair. Careful when driving in

What can I say about the waterfall initially it's great. That said it is nice place to just sit there and relax. The water itself is really nice we filled a bottle to drink it really recommended!

This is an enjoyable walk through the forest with the family and the deeper you go the more overwhelmed you get at the amazing sites you see, You get lost in the quite scene of the flow of water trees light wind that blows and the deeper you go you feel it getting colder and colder. Crossing over bridges and... More

This waterfall seems quite a way away from anything and I was honestly quite surprised by the size of it when we finally got there. There's a few kms of gravel roads although our rental VW Polo was adequate. Then there's a 300m walk which can get a little dicey when wet so make sure you bring 'grippy' shoes. There's... More

Quite literally off the Bergen track! This waterfall is quite a long way down An unpaved road so expect to get there dusty! There is a small gate house about 2km before you get to the falls which is where you need to pay a small entry fee in cash. At the end of the track you walk a short... More

Yes, I would definitely recommend this wonderful little hike to a beautiful location tucked away just outside of Oudtshoorn. It is a fairly cheap admission (gates open at 09h00) The picnic spots are also advertised but the picnic area is terribly run down. It is a relatively short hike in a lovely forest (take care, walkways are very soggy.) Not... More

Attempted to visit the waterfall on a rainy day in Oudtshoorn. We made the trek (11-12km) out the dirt road only to find that it was "closed due to rain"! Even though the sign-posted about 2km in where the road splits indicated that it was open. Think twice before attempting to visit on a rainy day!
