A firm favorite with the kids! Here they can be entertained for hours. Staff very friendly and food the normal fair - toasted sandwiches/breakfast etc.

This is a "must do" for families with children, particularly up to the age of about 12 years. It is our grandchildren's favorite outing. Happy children, happy parents and grandparents!!! There is so much for them to do, camel rides, donkey cart rides, foefie slide over the dam (for adults as well), camel rides for everyone, feeding of various animals,...

My husband, daughter and I spent one night in the B&B accomodations at Wilgewandel. As another reviewer mentioned, it was like having the VIP treatment...everyone who worked there seemed to know who we were. The accomodations were basic but clean and well maintained, and QUIET. We felt perfectly safe and enjoyed the quiet peace at night, which also afforded great...

The food here is real homemade style. The bobotie is to "die" for as well as the ostrich pie. The portions is enormous and the price is "mouth-open" - could not believe how cheap it was. THIS IS A CHILDRENS PARADISE!!! Camel riding, donkey car rides, paddling on small lake, feeding animals etc. An absolute must when you visit Oudtshoorn.
We had a fantastic evening at the wilgewandel guest houses, we were 10 people and we stayed for 1 night while we stopped over in Oudtshoorn. We were all thoroughly impressed by the accommodation, the friendliness of all the staff and the peace and tranquility. We will undoubtedly stay again and recommend to all our friends and family!
We stayed at Wilgewandel Farm b&b with our 2 children(3 and 5). It was a great 4 days - we visited local attractions - caves, wildlife ranch and an ostrich farm but also spent time on the farm. We felt like VIP's on the farm - all the staff knew we were staying there and greeted us warmly. We would...

Stopped here for lunch. Food was OK, but the atmosphere is fun. Lots of fun things to do while waiting for your food, like zip-lining, boat riding, feeding the animals. My personal favourite was the camel rides. For a couple of bucks, we took a ride on the camels (NOT STINKY AT ALL!!) and our guide was not just a...

We went to spend an afternoon there to go riding on the Camels and to have a bite to eat but ended up having a huge meal at such an affordable price was really worth the visit. I would recomend this Lodge any time as a day visitor but not to stay over as the rooms have no aircons and...

My fiance and I stayed at the Wilgewandel B&B. We arrived after 11pm but it was no problem, the manager met us at the gate and even helped us take our bags inside! Accommodation was comfortable and cosy. We woke up to a pleasant surprise of the view from our room. Beautiful grounds! We walked through the farmyard to the...
