Cracking beach - miles and miles of sand - deserted when we visited which added to the attraction - an abundance of birdlife to view whilst watching the waves crash in - Fantastic!

We enjoyed the beach walk from Groenvlei area. Next time we will start at the other end and possibly canoe.

Very nice to hike, with nice views (we saw whales and seals from there). The fauna and flora is beautiful.

Nice reserve, we rented a kayak and kayaked up the estuary. It was relaxing. I wish we had more time to do some of the hikes in the reserve

Goukamma Reserve and beach are too nice for words.... come for birdwatching and canoing if the wind is not too strong and swim in the river or walk the trail....do not expect other animals and bring a picnic basket.

If you are a Nature person this is a must, walking along the unspoiled beach and the green unique forest opens a door to your soul that you wil never gorget.

Your can walk, hire boats relax at the riverside cafe near the N2, anything is possible. All you need is good weather and there is plenty of that.... More
