This is a beautiful beach to go for a walk, for kids to play, to sun bathe or take your dogs. They supply poop bags for your dogs and it is safe. Swimming in the sea is not allowed because of strong sea currents. You only have to go a few kilometers down to beach to Buffalo Beach for a... More

Cute little beach town with such personality! A stunning blueflag beach that is animal friendly. Nice fishing spots and good restaurants! Be sure not to miss the fisherman's walk,a nice walk along the coast!

Small community on the west side of the Knysna lagoon with an interesting church, open to the public. Also has a hotel with reasonable good bar food. Worth a stroll around....

We parked at Brenton on Sea and walked to Buffalo bay for lunch, before returning to our car. It's a long walk (5km each way?), so only worth doing if you enjoy hiking. The beach itself however, doesn't require you walking that far - so worth visiting regardless of purpose

The beach of Brenton is one of my favourites of all time. Nice sand and great view. Mind that there are no shops or anything, so you have to take your own food and drinks.

The most beautiful beach in the whole of the Cape! That's our opinion anyway. Stunning. Deserted and unspoilt - I want to be back there!!

stunning beaches and so clean and quite empty. Walk for miles and see for miles. Beautiful. Some great houses to have a good look at too nearby!
