Long walks on a lovely clean beach. We enjoyed paddling and identifying the strange blue jellyfish washed up on the shore along with Shark and Ray egg 'purses'.

The weather was just right for us to laze on the sand, play a few games. The water was cold but there were kids swimming happily. Felt it was better than Brenton on Sea.

What a beach - very clean with a couple of good cafés as well as excellent toilet/shower facilities. Safe swimming in the guarded area although it wouldn't be wise to venture in anywhere else. Surfing lessons available with the conditions being ideal for learners. The beaches stretches round a horseshoe of about 5 kilometres to Brenton on Sea and is... More

We saw a little sign next to the N2 on our way to Knysna......it said "Buffels Bay" We thought it would probably be nothing special. Boy oh boy were we wrong! Currently busy booking a flat here for our next holiday. This little place took our breath away! I cannot for the life of me work out why this place... More

This is one of the beautiful beaches around. We enjoyed a cuppacino on the deck of Moby Dick's Restaurant. The views are spectacular.

Visit every year end Jan. Rent an apartment on the beach for next to no money. A 4 km stretch of beach, safe swimming and a wonderful deck overlooking the sea to have a beer and light lunch. A hidden gem between Sedgefield and Knysna. Unspoilt an unpopulated. Zero crime. Suggest you take a look at www.buffelsbaai.co.za

Often Overlooked from what we've heard, and we highly recommend taking the short drive off of the N2 to see it. Beautiful beach with lovely views

This beach is very easily accessible, especially for those who are averse to steep climbs. The beach is very clean and there is a restaurant which is very reasonable and serves good food.

Very Pretty and not a commercialised beach. I do think in Holiday periods can be overrun with local holiday makers - Out of Season Quite and relaxing
