Well worth a visit lovely sea views, with jagged rocks on the beach with breaking waves, and a quiet seaside village atmosphere.

.We ordered Calamari and Chips at the Restaurant , but to our disappointment the Calamari was not cooked right and "Chewy". The chips had a fish-like taste as if it was fried in the same oil as the Calamari. We visited the Restaurant for a second time and decided to keep it safe and only order Pancakes. This was also... Best spot for a relaxing day at the beach. This is a family beach and perfect place for surfing and swimming. The sunset was one of the best I have seen at the coast with the whales giving us a little show in the distance:) There is a little restaurant where you can get a small bite to eat or... More

We came late in the day on xmas day and the surf was so much fun. The kids had a great time boarding and swimming. There is a restaurant and shop nearby but these were closed. Could spend the whole day here it was so much fun.

One of our favourite beaches to visit. Can spend an entire day there. Lovely bay, entertained by all the people. Can get quite crowded in season but it is part of the vibe and the fun. Can grab a quick bite at the restaurant overlooking the beach and the bay. Nothing fancy but the service is relatively good. might have... More

The beach is beautifully flat and the waters are untroubled. One can bob up and down in the peaceful swells, watching the sea-bed under one's feet. It's better than a spa treatment.

Lovely setting. Good for surf boarding. Crisp and clean. Good surrounds. The east beach was windswept so we sheltered on the west beach. Toilets are along way off. Parking was 10 Rand but one can use the road.

We were surprised to find such a beautiful beach where one can walk for kilometers up to Brenton on sea! There were a lot of people walking on the beach and lots of people playing with kites in the sea! The sand is very white and people love this beautiful beach where one... More

Buffalo Bay has a very nice beach, there is a cafe very close to the beach and the waves are perfect for our kids 8 and 11. Great thing if you want a beach day from Knysna.
