Started with watching the Heads from the top of the East Head. There is a small roundabout just 50 meters before you get to the East Head Cafe. Here, you take the narrow, steep windy road up to the top. As you pass by the very smart properties with amazing views, a sign at the top indicates parking for the... More

This is a must see in Knysna. Take pictures from the view point at the top of the heads. Then take a boat ride to the heads to experience the small enterance into the ocean.

Such a beautiful sunset from the lookout point where the two Oceans meet. What a natural beauty and quite awesome! It's a perfect way to culminate a visit to Knysna. Thank You!

I would recommend to start with watching the Heads from the top of the East Head. A nice road leads you up there, if you take the George Rex Dr, pass by the Leisure island towards the Heads and then follow the Coney Glenn Rd, up to the View Point. There's a convenient parking lot up there, and you can't... More

Safe and secure access to a well maintained walk to the look out point with loads of photographic opportunities at the Heads. Will have to go back at sunset sometime.

We took a wonderful boat trip on the lagoon to see this area of natural beauty, and beyond into the Indian Ocean. A great half day trip.

Down is beautiful, Up is truly Amazing. The Heads are unique to Knysna and they reward with great views over the lagoon, the mighty ocean a place of many shipwrecks.

A beautiful way to finish the day in Knysna. Short drive from Knysna township to the heads. We drove up the hill to the lookout point which was absolutely breathtaking at sunset. Highly recommend this little excursion. Not to be missed.

On the West Head, reached by boat from Knysna pier, a short climb/scramble through scrub, past exotic Cape plants and mainly hidden birds to stunning views of reefs, glimpses of whales, and inland over the still 'Lagoon'.

The Heads look small from a distance, and once you arrive you realize they aren't small at all, and the view is fantastic! Worth the drive and there's a lovely place for coffee with an outdoor patio at the bottom of the hill as well.
