Fantastic views out to sea, and of Knysna itself. A gentle walk if you like, along a brick path, and different platforms strategically set out to enjoy the view from different angles.

A beautiful entrance to the lagoon and estuary, and a wild place in the winter winds and wet weather, yet so beautiful!

Take the side road up to the top for an incredible view of the "Heads". An awesome site - a natural wonder that you won't want to miss! You will be amazed at the power of the ocean waters and the rocks and caves below!

Starting from Wilderness, we stopped at Sedgefield to walk around the well known Saturday flee market buying a few of the many attractions on display before proceeding to Krysna reaching there around noon. Along the way, we saw the railway tracks at a number of places but no train. As it was time for lunch, we drove through the city... More

The Knysna Head are natural landmarks that provide exceptional scenery for photographs. The rocky shoreline is one of the highlights of the Garden Route. Although you can drive out to them an hike from the Eastern side, the Featherbed Nature Reserve tour give a very good viewpoint for observation from above.

Not much to add. A picturesque natural feature. The collision of ocean and bay creates a violent force that is worth lingering over.

The view of the vast expanse of the Indian Ocean transports you to another world! The heads look like they are welcoming the ocean to come into Knysna. Amazing experience to drive up to one of the heads and stare at the ocean from there. If you're lucky, you'll spot a whale too
