The golf course unfortunately is in the laps of the rain gods.Given the difficult terrain an improbable(eccentric) location for a golf course. We played there last week and all bunkers were GUR due to downpours. And winter has not yet really arrived... I wish the team there all the best but suspect a longterm losing battle against the drainage problems caused by... More

An amazing course, on tp of the hills outside Kysnsa. It is quite expensive to play but that's cos the course demands you take a motorised golf cart (would be impossible to play without one due to the huge hills). The golf cart hire and half way house food and driinks are all included in the golf round price, which... More

We arrived and were met but a member of staff who whisked our bags off to the tee, so we ambled up to the magnificent club house and checked out the pro shop (well stocked and reasonable prices with friendly staff). Near to our tee time we got on our buggy and set off for the fist tee, where we... More

The course has too many Disney like golf holes which are maybe nice to play once but not for a real golf course. Example is the second hole with a tee shot drop of maybe 60 meters. It may seem look nice but has nothing to do with a golf hole. A simple drive and than 100 meters in; easy... More

Service was first class from the moment our clubs were whisked away until they were returned cleaned outside the lobby. Very good club house. Course was very friendly with balls hit right and left often still providing shots to the green and very rarely lost. Course condition was ok with being exceptional. The starter wanted me to play off white... More

One of the best SA courses, not too easy to play. Need a buggy. Some good views, but not as good as the views on Pezula. I also felt staff was a bit uninterested, but maybe that was only on the day we were there. Will be back. Still great!

No matter how many times you end up in Jack Nicklaus' strategically placed bunkers, nothing could ruin the experience of playing this world class golf course a must for any golfer visiting the Garden Route.

This is a premium priced course which sits in a fabulous location. The quality of the layout is wonderful but the greens were pretty rough for so early in the season. The mandatory halfway house stop was very average with less than friendly staff and uninteresting food - but for this my rating would have been at least good if... More

Simola GC is really a special golf course in that it is very forgiving in many ways while not being at all "gimmicky" like some estate golf courses tend to be. A really good test of golf for the good to average golfer. The greens are really exceptional and manicuring of the course great.
