Another old style course well worth while playing. Because of the tidal water surrounding most holes the Bent grass greens hold even long iron shots in and present true putting surfaces. Don't get me wrong, it is a challenging lay out but extremely enjoyable. We like to arrive early, have breakfast (great value) and then warm up on the large... More

I never knew the old club house which burned down a few years ago, but the present club house is beautifully designed, spacious and a first class venue for functions. The staff are all very helpful and welcoming. The course is well laid out, and there are some very deceiving holes on the way round. Lots of water hazards, which... More

Very basic food. Not impressed with even the toasties. Half way house very very basic. Setting nice but as I said very basic.

After Pezula this was nice and flat, and suited all handicaps, some water to catch you out unless you were straight. We did not book buggies and due to a comp that afternoon none available, so we had Caddies, that was fun and different to carrying your own clubs.

This local member club has not only survived amidst the glitz and glamour of the resort courses that surround it, it has excelled. The new club house is extremely well designed; the staff are friendly and visitors are welcome. The intricacy of the design which meanders amongst the tidal waterways can be confusing and the complex intersections between holes are... More

The Knynsa golf course is a good links course with a lot of challenging fairways and holes. If you dont know the course you can get into trouble quickly. Dont miss this course if you in knysna.

I had the great pleasure of playing Knysna on a perfect golfing day and for the first time in my life I had a caddy ! The course is a terrific lay-out and is kept in immaculate condition. My caddy, Phillip kept me right (most of the time) and was well worth his fee and more! I recommend this course... More

A testing course with some pure links holes. looks innocuous but not to be underestimated. Friendly club with very good club house and excellent halfway house.

Sorry to disagree with so many others who found this a friendly club but on my visit the only warmth came from Simon who took the green fee. He approached for a friendly word after I'd played 9 solo holes and was returning the clubs. The lady in the golf shop was offhand and disorganised, seeming to assume that a... More

So you will find your way on the course. Nice to play and good caddies: George and Wellen (?) helped us to make our score acceptable :-))
