We stopped by at this scenic route on our wat to Knysna to CT area. Stopped by the most steep bridge for bungee jumping and a lions park somewhere near by. Had a lovely sunny day and enjoyed the route itself even though we didnt know where it started actually. Must do in SA!!

Walked up to the suspension bridge, approx 20 mins up steps. Lovely views across the water and cliffs. Nothing I did not dislike as only did the one thing. Worth a visit

The title Garden Route is a complete misnomer, there is little of the garden to be seen along this motorway apart from occasional oleander bushes along the central reservation. However, take the time to detour away from the N2 and things become much better. Some lovely drives, sometimes over rough track, but perfectly manageable, lead into wild areas full of... More

Stopped at Storm River Mouth on our way to Knysna. Good coffee and then we set off to walk to see the canyon where the river joins the sea. Quite a steep climb in places and farther than we had thought but certainly worth the effort. Views were amazing and crossing the two suspension bridges was just like being on... More

When we first set off from Addo, I wasn't too sure what I thought about the Garden Route - but as we made our way thru to Cape Town, we all agreed that this was easily one of the most beautiful drives we had ever done. From the ever changing scenery, the beautiful towns that dot the drive and the... More

This area is a must see part of southern South Africa. The beauty is beyond compare. It is so varied with farms, crashing waves, lagoons, lakes, rivers and so much more.

This is not the first time we have been here. over the years we have walked around the Storms River National Park, 'done' the canopy adventure and wandered in the forest. We love the area.

We enjoyed the magnificent cliff walk on a well maintained trail to the suspension bridge. Walking across the bridge is a challenge for 70 year olds, but well work it. We wished we had more time for our visit. I would definitely not miss this hike.

Drive the garden route - one of the worlds best, ranking up there with Route 1/Big Sur in California and the Great Ocean Road in Australia. Sublime views, lovely towns and friendly locals. Wonderful.
