Great outdoor activities to share with loved ones. I regretted having not spent the whole day enjoying these activities.

Whether the number of varietals of fynbos is 1500 or 5600 ( we heard varying reports of the indigenous bush plants along the garden route) the whole of the route is spectacular. We love New Zealand, but this South African splendour puts another slant on the word Wow.

It's not really in the treetops but the deck makes you feel that way. Outstanding chalet (best we've seen in SANParks). Will certainly return. Lots of thought went into this, how it was built and equipped. Location is amazing. Privacy unrivaled.

Well worth a visit here. Fantastic views of the sea which is very rough and you can actually camp here or you can hire a log cabin. There is a good shop here where you can buy provisions and an extremely good restaurant where you can have breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Well worth a visit.

the most important thing here is to know what youre looking for as the Garden route is actually a vast area, my highlights are : a) just beyond Knysna on the N2 is a short forrest walk called Garden of Eden with parking right next to the highway b) just beyond that in the Plettenberg Bay direction is the Knysna... Excellent guides were able to describe the different trees and wildlife. There was a srong emphasis on safety. We felt completely at ease as the runs became more challenging. The views were superb and a lot of care has been taken to protect the trees. You must try this!

Awesome views along the scenic walk, fantastic time on the swing bridge and great beach for a swim. We also ate at the restaurant which has awesomely prepared hake and chips! A really great outing for the day with the family.

The locals know how to pander to the throngs of tourists passing through. Lots to see and do and prices are reasonable for the time of year. Knysna Waterfront a sell out and booking essential

Driving through these areas on our guided tour with African Sky was amazingly scenic. There always seemed to be something to capture our attention
