What a wonderful trip we had on the Power Van, took a picnic basket along and were allowed to sit in the front with the driver so got first hand information. The views were stunning.

This transport museum contains a superb collection of steam locomotives and carriages as well as vintage cars.The admission fee is very low. The museum clearly shows the impact of the railways on the economic and social development of SA in steam days. The displayed rolling stock is well set out and is probably only second to the National Railway Museum...
