Stunning view

Really nice little walk up to the top, with an amazing view of Hermanus. About 100 steps in total to climb. Safe with security patrolling.

It is worth the 5 minutes it takes to walk up the hill. In a town and area like Hermanus, attractions are rare. So it's better than nothing. Try it when you are around!

It was a lovely clear (but a chilly day) and decided to walk up this wee mountain head. Only took a few minutes, there are pathways created. View was really great when we got up! Take the time to do this, you won't regret it.

We enjoyed the short walk up Hoy's Koppie and the 360 views of the Walker Bay area - well worth it! Sadly the plaque on Hoy's wife's grave has been vandalised :(

A fine early morning walk. What a view! Easy trip up and down. Curious to have seen a regular security patrol on the hill.

Hoys Koppie was our ultimate "Walk or Freedom". From my Gran's (Gummie's) house at No. 10 Aberdeen Street, past the school we'd walk on our own from the ages of approx. 6yrs up to 14yrs between myself, my sister and cousins. We even performed a Navity Play one December in (I think) 1983 which we then re-did in one of... More

Nice little hike with good access to the top. Security guards were doing patrols, only let down was the condition of the cave that looks a bit neglected.

Climbed up here when visiting Hermanus. Doesn't take long, isn't too steep, and you get good views over Hermanus and the surrounding area. Recommend if you have a spare hour.

A sanctuary of peace and quiet in the middle of a busy village, with beautiful views across the bay and into the mountains
