Poor communication while booking with reception, so our party was late. Very Bad service in general, average buffet, poor looking animals, lions have no shade just a small rock , not recommended at all! Very sad!

Recommended by our hotel we booked with Aquila and were asked to be in reception for pick up at 5.45am as it is over two hour drive - over an hour later we were still waiting - no phone call - we had to chase the park. Once there champagne is offered on arrival and after check in breakfast -Wefelt... More

You'll see the animals which is the main thing. It's more like a safari park than safari itself, but you'll expect that if you booked it. 2 hours away from Cape Town and a nice drive - you may see Baboons along the way. Food leaves a lot to be desired. I've read the reviews saying food was good, but... More

Never again. We went with guests from the UK and were told this would be convenient safari option and an experience to remember. It was for all the wrong reasons and our guests made the decision to cut their stay short. The game drives were the best part of the stay, but even then the game was limited. The rest... More

since we had various safaris / game drives at other place in South Africa we have to clearly state that the experience was negative for us; we booked four private game drives, but we did not receive during booking the info that this is too much, as with a two hour drive the entire game reserve has been covered

Was handed a flyer down at the waterfront and it looked interesting. We were aware that staying around Cape Town you are no where near where real full on safaris take place. But we thought it would be a good day out and as close as we could get to it on our holiday . It is a good two hour drive... More

I really appreciated to be in Aquila Safari.I was there an overnight event. Although the summer, it was important to bring a jacket, because in the evening, the temperature is little bit cold. Besides cameras and Iphones, you can't forget the plug for your devices, because the switch is totaly different from other countries. Enjoy it.

I have to say i was pretty much disappointed with this experience and i cannot understand all of the raving reviews. Maybe i was unlucky to have a bad day there. The facilities are really pretty but the game reserve was the same as the visit to the zoo for me, just much, much more expensive. We booked the horse... More

Average accommodation. Stayed after this trip at a 3 star hotel in Stellenbosch with more in the room and more luxury than at Aquila. The price does not justify the accommodation. Food was fantastic. Game drives were good, but not all drivers were wearing the correct clothes - some were wearing torn t-shirts. Does not look professional. Jannie, our ranger... More
