Our first stop upon arrival in Cape Town was by road from the North, and Blaauwberg Beach was it. What a great place to see the Cape Town skyline set against Table Mountian. The beach was wide and inviting. The strand walk was lined with shops and cafes to make it a memorable experience. Tourist information at the beach. Wi-fi... More

It's a busy beach in summer but it's always worth a visit; even early morning strolls or late afternoon walks are a treat. If you are looking for a photo of Table Mountain this is a very good spot to take it from. Robben Island is visible from here. If you enjoy surfing, kite surfing or stand-up paddling, you will... Fantastic views of Table Mountain, do not forget your camera. Beach is outstanding and is only a short drive from the city.

There are a lot of places available to stay in Bloubergstrand, and it is well connected via the myciti bus service to the main part of Cape Town. The beaches are excellent

You have to make a stop at this beach and watch the huge waves crashing onto the shore, with Cape Town and Table Mountain in the background! It is an amazing sight!

The beach has a nice infrastructure and a nice neighborhood. Unfortunately I've been there on a cloudy day, but I am sure the views of Table Mountain should be amazing. It seems to be a little out of the track for mass tourism.

A short drive north of the city, gets you to the beaches and the best views of Table Top Mountain and the city. There are beach side car parks, toilets and changing facilities. Be aware of personal security here, never leave anything valuable as there are always opportunists, accept this and enjoy the beaches. I would recommend visiting early morning... More

The weather in February can be warm to hot but it takes a brave person to go into the water without a wetsuit. The water is the coldest I have ever experienced numbing would be a good description. Then again this beach, Big Bay and Camps Bay are more popular with the surfers than swimmers. To walk along, sit and... More

Great place to take pictures and film of Table Mountain and the City. It does tend to get very windy over that side of the Bay

Quiet, peaceful Blouberg Beach is about half an hour's drive from Cape Town and has the same powdery white sand as its more famous siblings, Clifton Bay and Camps Bay beaches, only less crowded. From here beautiful pictures of Table Mountain can be taken and it's an amazing sensation to suntan on the beach while gazing at the mountains.
