Clean beach, except for the weekends not busy at all. Great view on Robben Island and Table Mountain. Lots of restaurants nearby.

You have all seen the pictures from Bloubergstrand of Cape Town and Table Mountain. This is the spot for the keen photographer. The beach itself is absolutely beautiful. It stretches for miles with soft fine white sand. The day we were there it was quite windy, so not a day for sunbathing, a great day for wind surfing. I counted... More

It is a brilliant place to go and take photos with Table montai in the backdrop. The area though is a bit downmarket, in spite of lots of newbuilds so not many nice cafes/restaurants to stop by. I would go just for photos. Also the beach is not very clean.

Lovely place with great views of Cape Town and Table Mountain. Had a few drinks in the sunshine at the Blue Peter which was a nice change from a grey Manchester Airport.

I was fortunate to stay just a few minutes' walk from the Strand and Beach, so walked along there most days, both by day and at sunset. The Strand is a wide walkway, used by joggers, walkers, cyclists, dog walkers, indeed everybody - young and old. The beach is easily reached by means of gaps in the fencing and wooden... More

We stayed in Bloubergstrand and it was around 20 minute drive into the center. It was very peaceful but still close enough to do everything!! Sea was very cold!!

it is amazing all the different beaches in Cape Town have something or the other to tell, icy waters do not stop holiday makers from getting into the water

Well worth the short drive out here just for the beautiful views of Cape Town and Table Mountain. Felt less crowded than some of the other beaches, like Camps Bay. Great for surfing and walking as well.

The beach walk is a must for all visitors to Cape Town. The views across the bay of Table mountain is a photo opportunity every few seconds. For the more active there is Wind surfing and some days the wind is howling so pick your day well.

Blouberg has a great beach with lots of restaurants along the beach which allow you to look at the view of table mountain from afar. Its absolutely, awesome, and there are also kite surfers to watch all day. Its a great place to relax and get a feel of Cape Town, watch runners come past and have a chill. Its... More
