I loved the view and the fact that the whole of a city can be summarized from a location high above the city.

Gives you a good view of the city and Robben Island. Can get very busy especially if the Cable to Table Mountain is closed

Loved the view. Went twice - once for the view and a second time to watch the "noon gun". It was a cold windy day, but worth the ride up.

Enjoy and aerial view of the City of Cape Town and the neighbouring harbour, especially at night. Although, please be vigilant as the level of crime has increased of recent times.

Wonderful drive along the mountainside. Great views of the city and other mountains. Be careful after dark.

Obviously this is a great view of the ocean and the city bowl and is an easy drive from Cape Town. Sunset from here is a must do and the paragliders can be great entertainment. Take a bottle of bubbles and some friends and have a sun downer.

Signal Hill is driveable and does give a good view of the city but it is not nearly as magnificent as the Table Mountain view which you take the cable car up. I would go see Table mountain if you have to choose between the two.

10 mins drive from Table Mountain Cable Car, this hill offers a closer view of the city with Atlantic Ocean in backdrop. An ideal place for paragliding takeoff. Make sure you book in advance with one of the tandem paragliding companies. This hill is used as a takeoff point for para-gliders. All you need to do is be prepared for... More
