One of the best walks and hikes to do in the Mother City- you can opt for easy slow walks on the level or do the more ambitious hike to the top of Lion's Head for spectacular views. Do not go alone ever as there have been muggings. Great for sunsets and sunrises-Instagram heaven! Views for days!

Great view and great exercise. Pack a bag and have a picnic at the top. I would suggest you take the family up or have a beer with friends at the top.

Did a family hike up Lion's Head. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. A certain degree of fitness is required to hike Lion's Head as there are some parts which include climbing up ladders and maneuvering with ropes. If you are a keen hiker - this is one to do! Very enjoyable.

Views from Lion's head is fantastic. If you have a car and time to spare it is certainly great especially at night. Would first do Table Mountain before Lion's Head.

We first saw this whilst on the open top bus touring Cape Town and on the way to Table Mountain.whilst we didn't go up, we watched others trekking, eating and even jumping off on paragliding type devices

If you're able to, hike up lions head. It takes about 1.5 - 2 hours and it never disapoints. Ask a taxi to take you to the start or take a bus up to kloof nek. Its a short walk from there.

Friends and I visited here after our tour of Table Mountain. The views were wonderful, but I wouldn't say it's a "must."

Lovely views over Cape Town and Atlantic Seaboard. It gives one a nice perspective of the lie of the land.

Pretty much the same as Signal Hill or Table Mountain...gives you a great view of the city and ocean just at a different angle

Easy walking with great views. The walks are great if you are staying in the Bantry Bay or Camps Bay area. There is a lot of litter (including human feces and broken glass). Can also get crowded on weekends
