Easy 1 hour hike with 360 degrees view of Cape Town. Can get a bit windy on the top, but the views are spectacular. Always nice to be there.

Our hike up the lions head was one of my favorite things in Cape Town. Lovely hike up with sweeping vistas of camps bay and all of Cape Town . Few tourists and lots of locals

Fantastic place for trekking and walking. You can opt for paragliding from here. Nice to walk specially in the morning.

Awesome and gruelling hike for the unfit. Taking the chains...a great experience. But, NO TOILETS! Should have one somewhere, surely, it's a must....considering the amount of water you must drink to make it.

Take the Kloof Nek Road and at the top turn left to go up to the top of Signal Hill. The hill gets it name from a cannon which signals noon every day. The top of the hill reveals exquisite views of Cape Town, the mother city of South Africa. You will also see he sprawling views of Sea Point... More

Lion's Head is a great place to hike during the day and for sunrise/sunsent hikes (remember a flashlight). Some parts of the trail are more challenging and require climbing up some ladders, but very doable. Great views of the city, surrounding beaches, and Table Mountain and Devil's Peak.

Relatively easy hike even for amateurs (1-2hrs); my 16yo niece and I made the summit in alittle over an hour in time to enjoy the sunrise. There were some small ladders to climb and gorgeous views to enjoy at every turn. A must see!
