The climb is not too hard, it can be done by almost everyone from children to adults. The view is just amazing. One of the "must go" places in Cape Town.

Very interesting view of Capetown. If you have the time it is definitely worth the trek. The vistas of the city are quite interesting from this vantage point.

We went at sunset. All though it was a steep climb, the view at the top with the sun going down was well worth it.

If you thought Table Mountain was beautiful, please make yourself a favour and climb on Lions Head as 360 Views and the road itself is magnificent!

This is an incredible walk, easy to do in about 1.5 hours and boasts beautiful views of Cape Town, Robben Island and Table Mountain.

Been there during my gap year and it was totally worth the visit. We walked up at around 7pm to watch the sunset which was one of the most beautiful i have ever seen. The hike is quite long and steep, so don't take to much stuff with you :) Normally quite crowded by tourists.

Lovely view and such and not too difficult to complete! The photos you will take will be amazing, usually nice and full and when there is a full moon it is for sure a MUST. Take some snack and some tea/coffee and enjoy the beautiful view.

Perhaps my review is a little jaded due to the fact that Signal Hill and Lions' Head nee Rump is situated in my "backyard" So to speak. Initially i loved making the short trip up the hill. But it has become more and more of a mission, (but only on weekends) due to the busloads of tourists. Not to be... More

Lion's Head is an easy hike near the city centre of Cape Town. What is nice is that the way up leads you all around the mountain. So while hiking you get to admire Camps Bay, Sea Point, Signal Hill, CBD and Table Mountain. It's the hike I've done the most in CT and am still enjoying it.

Wake up at 4:30 to catch the sunrise in the summer time. It took about 1 hour to hike to the top. It can be a little taxing if you are out of shape but not a problem for those who are pretty active. Beautiful view of the ocean and cool to see the city at night. Great hike in... More
