Well, it isn't a simple hike but it's also not Everest. Just make sure to take a liter of water and a few breaks on the way up. I would not do it if it is windy. There are a few narrow spots that could get dicey. But once on top (on a clear day) it is an amazing view.... More

Absolutely worth it. The only way to fully appreciate the panoramic views that you get from Lions Head is to make the +- 1 hour hike (depending on fitness levels). It's completely doable though and I would highly recommend it. The best time to go is an hour or so before sunset that way you can get the best views... More

It is situated between the Signal hill and table mountain. The mountain looks like a Lion's head.We can go for a hike as well. The view is great during summers as the sky is clear.

It's a good hike, intermediate especially if it's a hot day. Worth the effort though as the views of Camps Bay, the City of Cape Town and of Table Mountain are just breathtaking.

nice drive up the mountain form the view point you can see the whole cape town and then also find the trekking paths to climb lions head, an enjoyable hike though can be a tad tough, for all fitness levels most of it but can get a bit hard closer to the top

This hike up Lions Head, which lies adjacent to Table Mountain provides spectacular views of Table Mountain itself, Camps Bay, the City Centre and parts of the Cape Flats. It is picturesque and well worth the effort of getting to the top. As hikes go, it is a walk straight up. Do not be fooled by the fact that many... More

Best to go before 7am as the mountain gets super busy. Comfortable shoes are a must and it is a mountain so people must be careful.
