Choose a day that is not too hot, as you will need to spend some time here, we spent about 3 hours, but you could be here all day if you wish as there is plenty to see. January isn't the ideal time as most flowers have gone over, spring is probably better. We will just have to go back... More

Beautiful grass areas for relaxing in the sun and children playing just having fun. Clean path ways and people walking or jogging and enjoying the outdoors. You can spend the whole day amongst the tree's and plants and flowers and not forgetting the stunning views. There is an excellent restaurant in the gardens with great food and friendly stuff.

These gardens are large, diverse and well laid out and kept in good condition. There are wonderful examples of local plant life. I guess best visited in spring (Sept-Dec) when more plants in flower.

You need at least half a day to spend exporing the gardens...a whole day would be better. Check in advance for their concert schedule. A beautiful setting to enjoy all types of music.

If you visit Cape Town then it means that you love nature so you can't miss a 2-3 hr visit at Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden. You can take the blue line of Ho-Ho bus and combine the garden with Constantia winery. The entrance fee is 55 ZAR pp and a map costs another 10 ZAR. They have a lot of plants... More

You could easily spend the whole day here, theres plenty of different walking trails- one especially which i wanted to do but reached the garden too late so was unable to hike it, called the Skeleton Gorge- which is a hidden gem and apparently takes you to a private beach?! So please do this on behalf of me! :) I... More

Was an amazing experience, though more signs are needed. We originally went to the park to walk across the canopy tree top bridge and ended up hiking up table mountain. The view from the top was indescribably. We followed the one sign there was saying which way the bridge was and some how landed half way up the mountain, Thats my... More
