This is the place I go to when it's more about the getting there than the being there as I enjoy the journey and the 30 min. walk along the coastal vegetation. Oh and you can eliminate nasty tan lines if you feel like it.

I had been told about Sandy Bay and knew that bathing apparal was up to the individual participant. This was my first visit to a naturist beach and after a while joined in the open air sun bathing and swimming in my birthday suit. As previously reviewed the beach is a 10 minute walk from the car park and there... More

A lovely walk down to the beach itself through the bush and a safe pathway. A must when it is not windy. Late afternoon not as busy

I really loved this beach, beautiful, quite and clean. If u wanna have a relaxing day, just go there. Stop the car in the sunset avenue, the way is easy and there you can buy water and other driinks. We stoped in brunnie and it was a difficult and hard way to get there. #enjoy

The beach is breathtaking,y beautiful unbetween the huge boulders and mountain. The only thing that I can complain about is the distance, it is very far and in extreme heat conditions not at all a pleasure

Sandy Bay is a wonderful beach as it is surrounded by nature reserve and feels really wild. Parking is a fiddle, and there is a walk involved (consider taking shoes to walk in). Plus the water is freezing cold. And it's also a nudist beach for those that want to take their kit off. But if you want a beautiful... More

We drove through the winding road, which is allowed after paying a toll tax. In the middle we stopped to take pictures. Many cyclists and naturalists frequent this road.

Gorgeous secluded beach, naturists and non-naturists alike. The water is COLD but nice for a rinse after some time in the sun. DO NOT take anything valuable, some shady characters on the beach and along the long, secluded path. I was mugged walking up the path near sunset - BE CAREFUL!

There were not many people here when I went, which was a nice change from the crowds at the other beaches. I know this spot has some decent surf some days but I was much more impressed by the rock formations. We felt like kids again exploring the rocks. This is a quiet, beautiful beach. Just a slice of heaven!
