It was a bit cold in October when we went, but the locals were enjoying the water nonetheless. Beautiful beach to lounge about in the sand or sit on the big rocks and watch the tides.

We visited this wonderful beach on a sunny saturday afternoon. The ocean and mountain views were marvellous. The sand is great. Try it, you will enjoy it.

The Clifton beaches are more interesting and stylish, as well as being more frequented by locals, than Camps Bay. No cafes or toilets though. Big boulders and 4 interconnected beaches reached at low tide.

We went to Clifton Beach, section 3, since it was suggested to us that we will enjoy it because there was less wind than other beaches nearby. I enjoyed it and got a great tan. Hopefully, they will build a bathroom in all 4 sections of the beach instead of just one.

Windy but that's Cape Town, long beach with a great backdrop of the mountains - Stunning! Loads of restaurants to choose from.

Our family enjoyed visiting the Clifton Beaches. They were so beautiful and accommodating. The water was just the right temperature for how warm it was that day. Everyone on the beach was having a great time. Would definitely return.

Lovely clean beaches back with fantastic houses. The sea comes in and makes a fantastic display. Well worth a look.

Add Camps Bay and you have some of the besy beaches in the World. There is limited parking and we recommend the MyCiti bus service. It is excellent, regular and inexpensive.

Great sandy beaches, we spend a few hours at number 3 which is also popular with gay couples but don't let this scare you off we thought it was a nice mix of people. The entrances are through steep staircases between residential houses.
