That's what I call "Beach"

Beautiful place, espically on hot days because the water is pretty cold. On a windy day there are few places next to the rocks (Clifton 3/4)

This was a stunning beach. I can't say enough about how clear the water is, how beautiful the boulders are, and how soft the sand is. Clifton beaches are numbered 1-4. Each one has a "designated" style of person. While they aren't written rules, the locals know that each one attracts different beach goers. One is more popular with families,... More

What views of clean white sand, blue, blue sea & sky & pricey developments for those wishing to demonstrate their success & conspicuous consumption are to be had whilst strolling or running between Bantry Bay & Camps Bay which sooo many people do.Then to walk down the road between the houses with so much parking & garages one of which even... except for the cold water, the beaches are perfect; on the day we were there, there was no crowd and we could really enjoy the calm and peace of the ocean

Clear water, snow white sand and beautiful people - majestic mountains - what more could you want? The beach is even serviced by local entrepeneurs that will set up your umbrella, pull up a deck lounger and every so often bring cool drinks and snacks along - want a massage on the beach - no problem...

This is the first of four beaches - separated by gigantic boulders - and the most crowded. We rented chairs and umbrella for R150 and enjoyed the people watching with an occasional dip in the cold ocean. The next beach over also rents chairs and was more laid back, while the next two were sparsely attended and totally private. There... More

Beautiful area, clean white sand, little rocky in places. Super for a stroll or a picnic with family and friends. Can get very hot as there is little shade. Fabulous views too.

Parking was fairly simple and a simple hike to the beach. Stairs are a bit obscure, but most of them that were descending led to the beach (even though it looked like someones property). Beach was active. However, the use of the beach by irresponsible dog owners left an unpleasant mark.

Sheltered, pristine, popular. Perfect beaches to lounge on during Cape Town's hot summers. Stay for the sunset. Catch a bus rather than self drive, mind the steep pathways to access the beaches from the access road above.
