This is a very nice aquarium, although it's no Sea World. The collection of fishes, shellfish, and especially penguins and predator fish was extensive. Attending the feeding time activities is extremely educational, as the aquarium staff take a lot of time to explain about the various species in front of the audience, and about the process and purpose of the... more

Visited this aquarium located at the awesome V&A Waterfront last year, and was really dissappointed at what I saw. I've been to many great aquariums in Sydney, Hong Kong and Vancouver and a good one in Melbourne...and Cape Town's was no way up to the standard of the above four. It had no wow factor. I visited the Aquarium in February 2006. The Two Oceans Aquarium contains marine life from the Indian ocean and the Atlantic ocean. It is based on the on the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town.
