Description: The Two Oceans Aquarium is a window into the spectacular oceans...
The Two Oceans Aquarium is a window into the spectacular oceans surrounding the southern African coast. Through displays ranging from the small and almost fantastical Knysna seahorses, to large ragged-tooth sharks, the Aquarium holds wondrous discoveries around every corner. Be mesmerised by the swaying of the giant kelp in the aptly named Ocean Basket Kelp Forest Exhibit- one of only a handful living kelp forest displays in the world. Or come face-to-face with giant spider grabs and have an adventurous tactile experience at the Touch Pool. Be sure to visit the I&J Predator Exhibit, with its 11m long window, to view large ragged tooth sharks and shoals of silvery fish. Qualified divers can also make use of the opportunity to dive with the sharks in the I&J Predator Exhibit and the shimmering fish in the Ocean Basket Kelp Forest Exhibit.

Good break to keep children entertained. Personally felt it had a good variety of sea life and the children especially enjoyed the shark feeding

Good viewing of all the fish, interesting talks. Loved the encouragement of water savings. Great touristy shop at the end of the tour, stocked full of a good variety of souvenirs.

Very nice setup with the Indian & Atlantic displays set apart. A good amount of species on display. Found some of the areas cramped during the shows (penguin show) kids play area a very good touch. Overall a good spot to take kids .

We both enjoyed the morning here together, much more than expected! Well presented and educational as well as fun and interesting. Good price for the visit especially as you can go in and out all day when you get your hand stamped. Worth a visit if you get the chance

On a sunny day when the wind was too much for us, my four-year-old goddaughter and I ventured into the aquarium and had the best fun! She was completely engaged in the lavish exhibits and even I got caught up in the magic of underwater worlds. We sang soft lullabies to snoozing sea horses and laughed until our cheeks hurt... More

Really enjoyed this trip, was quite busy with it being school holidays and we have been out of school holidays and it was certainly less busy, but that did not really detract from the visit. Parked in parkade opposite which is under cover and great for the whole waterfront. Took picnic lunch and ate it on the benches outside although... More

This is facsinating and very well laid out. It is going to be even better when the new large walk through tank is completed. Beautiful, strange and sometimes scary fish - and a discount if you have sight seeing bus tickets.

Small children love it here, they can interact with some sea creatures and they learn a lot! The give a puppet show that is quite good. Small cafe for a nice refueling break when we are done.

We had a very good time at the aquarium. I actually prefer it to the Durban one - the educational aspect for the children is excellent.
