Through displays ranging from the small and almost fantastical Knysna seahorses, to large ragged-tooth sharks, the Aquarium holds wondrous discoveries around every corner. Be mesmerised by the swaying of the giant kelp in the aptly named Ocean Basket Kelp Forest Exhibit- one of only a handful living kelp forest displays in the world. Or come face-to-face with giant spider grabs and have an adventurous tactile experience at the Touch Pool. Be sure to visit the I&J Predator Exhibit, with its 11m long window, to view large ragged tooth sharks and shoals of silvery fish. Qualified divers can also make use of the opportunity to dive with the sharks in the I&J Predator Exhibit and the shimmering fish in the Ocean Basket Kelp Forest Exhibit. « less

We are used to good aquariums coming from California, and the Two Oceans Aquarium was no disappointment. It is obviously run by people committed to preserving our most vital resources. Fun and educational for kids and adults alike!

This aquarium is well layed out, but it is kind of small. Do not expect to kill a lot of time here. The penquins are definitely a highlight of the location. Helpful hint - if you can get the penquin experience, book it. It was amazing.

What stands out for me at this aquarium is that it is very focused on combining the educational aspect with the visual. So instead of just walking around admiring the aquatic displays, you will frequently encounter areas to interact with staff manning a display with something really interesting to share. Whether it is looking into a microscope at plankton or... More

Although the variety of sea life is good, but kids would definitely enjoy it more than adults. The penguin watching was quite exciting though :)

Loved it all - so many things to do and see. Puppet shows on weekends, art and craft area on lower floor with sand pit and play area. Kids can touch and feel sea weed and other cool sea animals...

A stunning facility to view the deep blue oceans creatures & fishes. Beautiful "Nemo" tanks where they swim around your head. The predator tank is amazing - especially if you are lucky enough to experience feeding time. My girls fell in love with the penguins. Very nice gift/curio shop and reasonably priced too. A very fun activity to do -... More

Mum didnt want to leave!! A great place to see different species and well laid out. Best exhibit for both of us was the Kelp exhibit. We went on a day when it was raining and spent a good 6hours. Great idea to have your hand stamped and you can go back again on same day.Fair price and lots to... More

The aquarium itself is small but nicely laid out. If you are familiar with the Boston or Baltimore Aquariums, this one is maybe a third of the size. However, they have many fish that we haven't seen before so that was neat. For general viewing it took about an hour. The amazing thing was the penguin experience. 3 times a... More

Thank you very much for your review of the Two Oceans Aquarium. Yes, we are indeed expanding. And you found one of the most popular exhibits in the Aquarium - the mermaid's purse exhibit. Though one of the small exhibits, it is fascinating an many people spend a lot of time watching the shark embryos wriggling around. Definitely one of... More

We enjoyed the aquarium as it had fish we had not seen in aquariums in the United States. There were exhibits that appealed to children as well as adults.

Thank you very much for your review of the Two Oceans Aquarium. We focus on marine life found off the southern African coast. Many of the fish found in our waters are not only endemic, but also endangered. More
