Description: The Two Oceans Aquarium is a window into the spectacular oceans...
The Two Oceans Aquarium is a window into the spectacular oceans surrounding the southern African coast. Through displays ranging from the small and almost fantastical Knysna seahorses, to large ragged-tooth sharks, the Aquarium holds wondrous discoveries around every corner. Be mesmerised by the swaying of the giant kelp in the aptly named Ocean Basket Kelp Forest Exhibit- one of only a handful living kelp forest displays in the world. Or come face-to-face with giant spider grabs and have an adventurous tactile experience at the Touch Pool. Be sure to visit the I&J Predator Exhibit, with its 11m long window, to view large ragged tooth sharks and shoals of silvery fish. Qualified divers can also make use of the opportunity to dive with the sharks in the I&J Predator Exhibit and the shimmering fish in the Ocean Basket Kelp Forest Exhibit.

We enjoyed our time at the aquarium and it compared well with those we have in the UK. There are better things to do in Cape Town if you are only there for a few days.

Good for a bad weather day. Plenty to see and good location at the Waterfront. Penguins were good to see and the talk at feeding time was enjoyable.

If your into Aquariums you would probably like it. I'm 28 year old male and found it kinda boring. We went to the predator feeding and I thought it was a little in-exciting. Although I did think we were going to see sharks rip fish apart...that didn't happen.

This is great for all. Loved the aquarium. Get a season ticket it is a little more than a once off entry and you can go back for free. There is just so much to see and do. Wheelchair friendly also. Allow time to sit in front of exhibits to watch feeding and just to watch the fish. Excellent!

Well layed out with good exibits. Students showing different forms of marine life within the aquarium were pleasant, informative and well received by the children in our party. Although the aquarium is small there is lots of different marine life on display. Affordable outing, worth doing particularly with children.

Our last morning before flight home and being a weekday we thought this would be a good place to fill a couple of hours or so between hotel check out and airport transfer.Good value entrance fee ( 131 rand each) and lots to see and experience, with excellent information provided on all the creatures on show. What a nice review. Thank you very much. We will tell our octopus that it is more intelligent than your cat! I am sure he will take great pride in that :-) All jokes aside - yes, octopuses are highly intelligent animals. They also grow very fast, so we regularly release the one we have on display. More

Good break to keep children entertained. Personally felt it had a good variety of sea life and the children especially enjoyed the shark feeding
