Owner description: The Two Oceans Aquarium is a window into the spectacular oceans surrounding the southern African coast. Through displays ranging from the small and almost fantastical Knysna seahorses, to large ragged-tooth sharks, the Aquarium holds wondrous discoveries around every corner. Be mesmerised by the swaying of the giant kelp in the aptly named Ocean Basket Kelp Forest Exhibit- one of only a handful living kelp forest displays in the world. Or come face-to-face with giant spider grabs and have an adventurous tactile experience at the Touch Pool. Be sure to visit the I&J Predator Exhibit, with its 11m long window, to view large ragged tooth sharks and shoals of silvery fish. Qualified divers can also make use of the opportunity to dive with the sharks in the I&J Predator Exhibit and the shimmering fish in the Ocean Basket Kelp Forest Exhibit.

My friend and I spent hours here. It's brilliant! So many different things to see, you can take selfies with stingrays and watch the penguins getting fed. Great location next to a beautiful market with handmade candles and good gifts!

My kids loved it. Must go during feeding times as its so informative and quite spectacular to see the turtles and stingrays to be feed. Also the guides and staff there are so well informed and really make an effort to educate. My kids also really enjoyed the play area and they had bead making which was great fun too.

The layout and space to view the tanks is brilliant - lots to look at and plenty of information to read if you want to. Great interactive features - touch pool and microscope presentation. Huge variety to keep all ages amused. Predator display is awesome.

My sense is that this is a good entertainment hub for families with kids. Not for a solo adult like myself. For others travelling through the country, the Aquarium in Durban is muc, much better.

When my daughter was very small, we bought a season ticket and I was interested to see that they're still exceptional value. We hadn't been to the aquarium for years however, and it was the arrival of an overseas visitor that was the trigger for us to make the effort this time. The overall layout hasn't changed much, but the... More

Not very interesting for the price that you pay. The penguins are cute but I didn't find a good enough reason for 125 rands

My wife and I visited in January,2015 it is a wonderful experience. We were entertained as much by the children appearing inside the 'Nemo' display to be photographed. The main round tank area was marvellous to watch, indeed we even enjoyed the penguins and later the feeding of the seals Great value and entertainment for all ages.

I went to the Two Oceans Aquarium with my wife only because we had a bit of time on hand, and were in that area. In the end, we enjoyed it so much that we ended up spending about 4 hours there. It really is a world class aquarium with a wide variety of fish and plant species. It was... More
