Description: The Two Oceans Aquarium is a window into the spectacular oceans...
The Two Oceans Aquarium is a window into the spectacular oceans surrounding the southern African coast. Through displays ranging from the small and almost fantastical Knysna seahorses, to large ragged-tooth sharks, the Aquarium holds wondrous discoveries around every corner. Be mesmerised by the swaying of the giant kelp in the aptly named Ocean Basket Kelp Forest Exhibit- one of only a handful living kelp forest displays in the world. Or come face-to-face with giant spider grabs and have an adventurous tactile experience at the Touch Pool. Be sure to visit the I&J Predator Exhibit, with its 11m long window, to view large ragged tooth sharks and shoals of silvery fish. Qualified divers can also make use of the opportunity to dive with the sharks in the I&J Predator Exhibit and the shimmering fish in the Ocean Basket Kelp Forest Exhibit.

Try the scuba diving

I did the scuba diving with sharks there. It was a great experience and a good price for it. Definitely worth it.

What a fantastic visit, our kids enjoyed it so much that it made the teens act like toddlers running.from one exhibit to another. The facility is in great condition with very friendly and helpful staff. The volunteers at the various exhibits are very informative

I have often wanted to go to the Aquarium but time was against us: on this occasion we were acting like tourists so we did a tourist visit. The fish displays were well presented and the ocean life many and varied. We took time, unlike many other visitors, to stop at the microscope exhibition where the less glamorous and excedingly... Buy the annual pass - which is like £3 more than the day pass. The shark tank for me was the standout. But the Finding Nemo tank that kids can stand inside, and the penguins enclosure are both good fun. Its no Seaworld. But then it only costs some £6 to go in. I had a nice time. I visited... More

Having been to Cape Town before and heard about the Aquarium, I decided to visit it. The displays were nice but nothing special in comparison to other aquariums I have seen in other parts of the world.

There is a lot of effort in design of the tanks to allow for good views and clears explanations. This would suit families as evidenced by the school children queues and eager faces. The penguins are so cute and its as an experience to be less than a foot from the oystercatchers just before feeding time. The rock hoppers are... More

There was nothing to dislike about the exhibits - a touch pool, magnifying glass with a helpful volunteer and really good value! The souvenirs aren't anything to write home about, but take plenty of photos - there are heaps of opportunities.

Wanted to visit the Two Oceans site on numerous occasions. The exhibits were informative, well presented and housed in a superb location. The place itself is spotless, and brimming with information.Well worth a visit to see what is in the ocean. The large displays were awe inspiring, and the variety of sea life was stunning.

We took our nieces for a morning excursion to the Aquarium and they had the time of their lives. Both are under 4 years old and they were captivated by just about everything! The teared around the ground floor looking at the various glass pools of manta ray, butterfly fish, moray eel etc and couldn't stop asking questions and showing... More

It was not quite as good as expected. The displays are just not up to par. Very glad I went but after uShaka Marine World in Durban this is a little dissapointing.
