Though the beach is still popular, the elegant splendor that once graced this seaside resort community barely shows through the paved-over streets, fast-food eateries and shopping centers.

Darling little beach town with the iconic colourful changing cottages. We walked around and had a nice beachside lunch, but sadly didn't bring our swimsuits! Loved watching the young surfers and families.

We took a road trip through Muizenburg, Kommetjies, Simons Town, Hout Bay etc. Wonderful views and roads to travel on.

I have visited on a windy cold day on my way to cape point. It needs just a short stop to see the place. Colours of the cabins are very attractive.

About 25 minutes from Cape Town, this beach offers safe parking, clean ablutions, showers, several restaurants and warmer water than the Atlantic seaboard. ideal for those who want to surf, walk and enjoy the beach.

It is one of the best places in the Capetown. it requires customized tour plan or rent a car to drive. regular tour bus or car is not available. but the visit is worthy especially indigo wave of great Indian ocean

Surfed Muizenberg for the first time the other day. I was a little disappointed. There was relatively very little wind and a good swell, but the waves were very choppy and coming in from all directions it seemed like. Great spot for beginners, but not worth the time if you are looking for real waves.

Wide streach beaches. Pic a windless day, otherwise you go the other more protected beaches. On a warm summers day, a great beach. So if it's a windless day, then do go visit and you dont get too many opportunities. For the surfers, the right break is slow and perfect.

OK ,so you like surfing dude. Get your skitools on and dodge the sharks. Never mind, the shark spotters watch and warn. Chill out afterwards at Tiger's Milk and the Knead . Great beach and nostalgic Cape Town beach as it was in the old days.

This beach is a brilliant place for tourists who want to explore an authentic experience in Cape. The surfers are abound, small cafés make a great post-surf caffeination, and the views of the bay are quite stunning! Always listen for the shark alarms, though!

A great part of Cape Town with huge links to its history in the early days when my family lived there. The beach is good, but there are better, such as Clifton and Camp's Bay, but worth a visit as part of a longer drive up the coast. Proceed to Simonstown for tea. Very lovely.
