Not a surfer, but its a place worth a visit! Plenty of surfers so it was nice to see their activities as there was a surf school. A simple scenery with pretty views and colourful painted houses.

It is 20 kms far from Cape Town, exposed on False Bay, famous for the dozens of kms of beaches, white sands, perfect surf spots, white sharks and the coloured photogenic cabins. Go to the near Kalk Bay for the lunch.

Unlike the quaint and artistic Kalk Bay not 5min from here. Muizenberg has nothing going for it but its nice beach with its lovely brightly painted houses. Great for taking a picture. Other than that (even according to the local information office) there is really nothing to do here, unless you want to learn how to surf. The town itself... More

A long, wide beach with nice sand and great waves is a good place to surf, but aside from a couple of surf shops and a couple of sea-front cafes, there is not a lot else there. In the sun, on a nice day, definition worth a visit/swim/surf, but on a wet and windy day, there isn't a lot else... More

Steady consistent waves and lots of space make surfer's corner on the Muizenberg beach a top choice to learn surfing. Top tip: buy a Groupon / Daddy's Deal for a surf lesson for 2 and thus go take a half price surf lesson.

This is one of my favourites beaches because I swam there a lot when I was younger! Its also a good place to surf. But my favourite was the big waves that was refreshing to dive into. The water temp can be a bit shocking at first but you will get used to it. Also beware of great whites, blue... More

The beach is massive, with lovely fine sand. The views are amazing. It's a popular spot for surfers and there are beach huts and decent facilities. There is parking and clean toilets. Backing onto the beach there are several café options.

Excellent for surf beginners, awesome beach and landscapes, a train takes you from CT. There are some nice restaurants also and people are nice and willing to help you. I remember I had an accident and everyone was very worried! Thanks for that
