Cool white sandy beach with colourful beach huts and lots of watersports to watch or participate in. While we were there, several kite surfers were displaying their abilities but there appear to be other things to do judging by the large surf shop on the road overlooking the beach. Muizenberg is a funky area with a slightly hippy vibe and... More

With its well-known colored wooden beach cabins, this is a long, white sand, and windy beach. As in all beaches in Capte Town, the water is cold.

Pretty far away from dartmoor national park in devon england but so incredibly worth it. My mother flew for the first time for my brothers wedding. After an arrival commitee greated them at the YWAM school they were staying, my brother who moved here in 2010 showed them around. I arrived 24 hours later to the two of them raving... More

Found this bakery / restaurant called KNEAD serving us amazing coffee (filter), breakfast and baking treats to die for. On the beach .... dressed casual and eating like a king.

This is where pictures you've seen of the brightly colored beach shacks have been taken. The soft white sand made the shacks really stand out. We walked this beach that seemed to be surfer's heaven. Never seen so many surfers in one area! You could do surf lessons here too. My kids were sorry they hadn't brought swim suits until... More

We stopped at this beach Muizenberg (St. James) which is situated along "False Bay" on our way to Cape Point National Park. It is very picturesque and definitely worth hanging out for a short time to take in the sights. Excellent photos can be taken with mountains in the background. Highly recommend a stop here! PS the houses are actually... More

Water slides, mini golf, colorful beach houses, surfing and miles of beach. Very low key. A 15 minute walk along the shore if you are in St. James, or you can get off at the Muizenberg Station.

This year we stayed in Muizenberg, Town/village, not sure but very busy at weekends. Great place to chill Monday through Friday afternoon. Good beach, shallow waters great for water activities. A great place for some R&R, great people too. Plenty of basic shops no fancy mall. Perfect

We stopped at the beach for about 20 minutes on our way to Boulder’s Beach and Cape Point. It is a beautiful and unique beach with the bright colored beach houses and the stunning bay and mountain views. We also enjoyed watching the surfers. We arrived at the beach around 9am and there were already hundreds of surfers. Worth a... More
