This is one of my favourites beaches because I swam there a lot when I was younger! Its also a good place to surf. But my favourite was the big waves that was refreshing to dive into. The water temp can be a bit shocking at first but you will get used to it. Also beware of great whites, blue... More

The beach is massive, with lovely fine sand. The views are amazing. It's a popular spot for surfers and there are beach huts and decent facilities. There is parking and clean toilets. Backing onto the beach there are several café options.

Excellent for surf beginners, awesome beach and landscapes, a train takes you from CT. There are some nice restaurants also and people are nice and willing to help you. I remember I had an accident and everyone was very worried! Thanks for that

Muizenberg is one of the best surfing spots in Cape Town. The beach is expansive, with white sand, rock pools, and great waves. Muizenberg beach has a laid-back, relaxed vibe, and it's popular with surfers of all abilities. You can learn to surf with the assistance of instructors at the Surf Shack, or tackle the waves yourself if you have... More

Took a Sunday afternoon drive to Muizenberg. This venue is very convenient to get to from the southern suburbs of Cape Town. The multi colour houses is epically Cape Town. The beach shore was a bit dirty. The newly renovated buildings make the place look more than a coat of fresh paint compared to how Muizenberg looked previously. There is... More

Muizenberg is an amazing laidback surfspot, which is good for beginners and intermediates. It is nice to see the coloured houses but I wouldn't travel there just to see them. The beach is quite safe and there are shark watchers around. I went here almost every week while I was in Cape town and would love to come back +... More

To sit and watch the waves are beautiful. Colourful little changing rooms on the beach. And also nice to watch the young girls who are taught to do surfing.

Each time we drive through the town of Muizenberg, my eyes get stuck on the beautiful train station clock. Although the colored wood houses look beautiful, the beach is just too crowded to dare go there. A train track runs right next to the beach and that is way cool indeed. Of course the sound of the train won't contribute... More
