Hout Bay Harbour

Most amazing shed market. A huge variety of foods, cloths and gift ideas for all. Only negative is the lack of parking in the area of the Shed Market.

We love the Harbour and rustic restaurant and African markets. Authentic fish shops and tons of fishing boats selling snoek.

Beautiful bay and a great place to see the hinders of seals and their pups. We did this as part of a day tour and it is certainly worth a visit. Great restaurants and fabulous views

We drove to Hout Bay easily from Cape Town. Had a trip on the ferry to grey seal island..... really not a lot to see...but if you have time worth a visit.

Sad to see that Authorities have done little to stop the informal settlement from growing. Despite that however, Hout Bay is a little gem that's great housing, great shops, restaurants and an amazing market in the harbour from Friday afternoon till Sunday. This is a great alternative for those who do not want to go to Woodstock's Old Biscuit Mill... More
