The large park on the southerner end of the peninsula is worth a trip. W saw far more wildlife than I had expected, ostriches, baboons and, eland. More

You can't travel to Capetown and not visit the dottom of Africa. The views will make the effort worth the trip and one you will be thankful you made. Set aside a day for this one as there is lots to see on you way down and back to Capetown. We hired a car and did a circuit along both... More

Cape Point in South Africa is breath taking. This visit is a leaf out of your life time travels. If you have children then that’s the best geography live- tour gift you could endow on them. Standing at the Cape of Good hope brought back a million memories of school geography lessons .The family bonded so much over beautiful scenes and thanked... More

The view in any direction was beautiful. We were there about 40 minutes before sunset & the light was great. Standing up at the top, the wind was really howling. I wonder what it must be like to sail around the Horn. Must see More

We rented a car for the day and drove to the Nature Reserve. Extremely easy to access and nicely laid out- we paid 85 rand each to get into the park and enjoyed largely unspoiled beauty of the area. You can visit both the Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope- but the Cape of Good Hope vista is prettier-... More

Beautiful area! Take a walk up to the light house (or if you're feeling lazy, take the funicular. The views of the coasline are spectacular. Down at the actual cape, take the requisite pics by the sign, then take a stroll up the cliff path or around the beach. It's worht it. You never know, you might even spot a... More

While Cape Point itself is spectacular and a must-do part of any visit, there are plenty of other attractions in the park. We arrived at Buffels Bay for an early breakfast and managed to finish before some of the ubiquitous and mischievous baboons arrived. You need to be careful of the baboons - they're not very afraid of humans and... More
