Took the teenage kids to Cape Point to see the two oceans meet. (Being an ex Capetonian , been there a few times).

You can't travel to Capetown and not visit the dottom of Africa.
The views will make the effort worth the trip and one you will be thankful you made.

The view in any direction was beautiful. We were there about 40 minutes before sunset & the light was great. Standing up at the top, the wind was really howling. I wonder what it must be like to sail around the Horn. Must see

Beautiful area! Take a walk up to the light house (or if you're feeling lazy, take the funicular. The views of the coasline are spectacular.
Down at the actual cape, take the requisite pics by the sign, then take a stroll up the cliff path or around the beach. It's worht it.
