Description:

The urban park was one of the legacy projects of the FIFA World Cup 2010....

The urban park was one of the legacy projects of the FIFA World Cup 2010. The area is adjacent to the Cape Town Stadium and has stunning views of both the stadium as well as Signal Hill. Lovely place to bring the kids to excercise or to have a picnic. It is also a learning experience for young and old. The garden is separated into ‘People and Plants’, ‘Wetlands’ and ‘Discovering Biodiversity’. The park hours are from 7 to 7 with visible security.

A nice calm get away.

This was a nice experience of walking around and enjoying the area. I had a great time listening and taking it all in.

This park, near the Moullie Point lighthouse, is beautifully maintained and absolutely safe. There are interesting walks, places to picnic and the view of the mountain is lovely. There is an outdoor gym and there are always a few joggers doing the circuit.

Walking through this beautiful park in the centre of the built up area of Green Point, Cape Town one has to notice the clean, well kept surroundings. With table mountain as a backdrop and the ocean in the foreground this park is perfectly located and is a little piece of paradise. Safe for old and young, offering spaces for picnics... More

Green Point Park and Beach is Absolutely beautiful and it joins up with two other beaches which joins to form one beautiful beach such as putt-putt. There are so many things going on. People are going jogging and it could be more beautiful than San Francisco Etc because the air is so crisp. One looks at them and immediately one... More

A really pleasant place to walk around and enjoy some peace and quiet. And very safe. Excellent security visible. Also a spot to have a drink or coffee and a nibble.

Advised by a shop assistant that this park was outstanding so disappointed to find nothing particularly special about it. If time is short Kirstenbosch is a far superior choice.

Lovely park for young and old and everyone in between! Soaking up some sun on the pristine lawns... Watching work groups and families playing ball games and old school silly-olympics was a good laugh! Rollerblading around the paved track, my daughter stopped at EVERY water fountain to hydrate, lol. Fish, frogs and water Lillie's in the ponds...beautiful flowers and trees... More
