Everything we thought it would be & more. The cable cars make it easy to get up there quickly with views on the way up. A must see.

We were lucky to pick a day when there was no mist about. There are several good trails to walk ,but wear reasonable footwear as some of them are a bit rocky.

It's a must do. Take the cable car and walk around the top of the mountain. You'll cover the lot in around three hours, and the views are breathtaking. You'll need to be able to walk on stony areas, it's not all laid paths, but well worth the effort.

Great views, a real "Must Do" but wait until the table cloth is off the table, not much use going up there to see clouds. Cheaper after 6pm, and can be good weather then. Don't bother with the photo's they take, overpriced and not very good imho.

500 meters before the funicular you will find a small path going under the funicular cables and then around the summit. 2 hours walk and be careful a little bit of climbing (the full walk is approx. 8km) Then you go back by the other way with a lot of stairs be careful of your knees. Up and down :... More

a little more signage and warning about just how steep the climb is would have been appreciated. BUT, the views at the top were tremendous!

Though quite often covered with fog (or Tablecloth, as locals call it), it is worth going even then, though it will be quite moist inside the Tablecloth. When I visited, parts were sunny and parts were in rather deep fog, but this only added eerie feeling to the extreme natural beauty of the place. The astounding vegetation of the table... More

Great trip up the mountain. The easiest way is to take the hop on hop off bus to the cable car point. It is cheaper to book tickets for the cable car online. Lots of nice walks on the top, and a good restaurant. Don't miss a visit up to Table Mountain! Take a jacket, it can be cold on... More
