Table Mountain is a must-do, and you have amazing views once you get to the top. The only thing is that it can get crowded with tourists.

It is obvious to me why this is one of the seven wonders of nature. A breath taking hike up and walk on top. Don't forget to bring a jacket or a sweater, it can be cold an windy on top (even when the weather is warm and sunny down).

Get there early or buy your tickets from the Hop On Hop Off bus guys to avoid the line up. The cable ride is fast and smooth. Today was a beautiful clear day. There's a restaurant and wash rooms at the top.

Whenever we are fortunate enough to make a trip to Cape Town, we make sure that we have time for a hike up Table Mountain via the Plattikip Gorge. We made the hike again this December and despite having clouds and very heavy winds moving in at the top, we again enjoyed the exhaustion that you earn on the hike.... More

We were very fortunate that there was no cloud on the day of our visit and the wind had dropped by the time we arrived at the cable car. The cable car ride was the start of our adventure. The paths at the top of the mountain were manageable, even for those with minimal fitness levels. The 360 degree views... More

I went up by Sightseeing bus and cable car. Great views and the cable car wasn't scary for one who is frightened of heights. Unfortunately, they had forecast of high winds so I was only on the top for 10 minutes before the siren went and we all had to come off. Had a very nice boerewors sandwich in the... More

Awesome views!! and the cable car ride up slowly spins so you can get the full 360 degree view. Once on top, the weather can change in an instant. In the 90 mins we spent there, it went from clear, to cloudy and misty, back to clear again. So dont be discouraged if it looks a little cloudy from the... More

Dont take the cable cart! if you are in an acceptable fysical condition, consider the walk up (1 1/2 hrs steap climb up). Its worth the effort! the park on top is beautiful and the views spectacular. Very cool to see how the indian and atlantic oceans meet. (they have different colours)

We hiked the diagonal trail to the top. The trail disappears at times. It took 4.5 hours. There are easier trails.

We loved this attraction and the views were spectacular. Taking the cable car up to the summit was a fun ride and felt like we were rising into the clouds. The low hanging clouds drifted away before we got there and gave us a great view of Cape Town.
