On brief stop over spent half day with African Eagle across Johannesburg and Soweto. Driver was very informative and friendly. The half-day is really only a taster but all the time we had - full day would be better if you can. Vehicle neat and new.

I ended up with a spare day whilst in Cape Town and despite trying to organise going whale watching with other companies, due to various reasons this just wasn't happening. I was keen to use another company rather than African eagle, as my first experience with them the year before was not a pleasant and i wanted nothing to do... More

It was a very good tour, we can see many beatches (Camps Bay,Clifton, Muizenberg,...), boulders, baboons and seals. The bests of the tour are Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope where we have a beautiful view. At the end, we finished by the Kirstenboch garden, which is a beautiful garden. The guide vas very sympathic, funny and he explained... More

We booked 2 tours with this company. The First included the lighthouse, Chapman's drive, etc. was very good, driver/ guide was informative, polite and courteous. Only complaint is we were very rushed in the Botanical Gardens. We were picked up earlier than set time, so had to skip breakfast only to stand around and wait for other pick ups who... More

we had a day tour of the Capetown peninsula: Cape point, Hout bay and Camp bay and the gardens .. Very informative guide, we could have gone to the boat tour to visit the seal island (optional ) but instead just walked in had a coffee. the visit of the penguins at Simon's town was a little bit disappointing.. Many factors probably contribute to a disappointing experience. We took the half day tour. by the time all guests were collected from hotels, several of the sites we were told would be included had to be passed over in order to be back into CT ...to sit in traffic. The driver was friendly, courteous . We had arranged tour through... More

As part of my recent trip to Southern Africa with my mum we did 3 tours with African Eagle, which I had pre-booked via a travel agency (Jenman Safaris - highly recommended!). We started with a half day Cape Town tour, which was guided by Thomas. We started at Signal Hill with a gorgeous view over Cape Town, followed by... More

We were originally planned to tour with a different company but the guide fell ill so we went with African Eagle. It was good of them to take us last minute. However, we (and most others) felt time at Boulder's beach was too short. It felt like a race to get from the bus to the penguins and back and... More

Great experience with our driver Marie-Claire who guided us through beautiful places and brilliantly managed to translate in French for other people. Tasted some very nice wine and even the best brandy in the world in Laborie Wine Estate !

Unfortunately we did not have a very good day with our particular tour guide reginald jonias. First he was late collecting us- not a big deal initially, we then picked up some other guests from around cape town, reginald repeatedly drove up one way streets and no entry signs the wrong way, speeding up them and unsurprisingly meeting angry drivers...
