Great food, reasonable prices and huge portions... Dim sum for R50 was amazing and more than enough. Must try the honey liqueur in chocolate pots... Hhmmmm great music lovely decor and a well thought out area generating economy in a deprived area.

Meet Cape Town's chefs and produce at it s best. Went there just after Easter the weather was great. Plan for the whole day if you can and plan also a taxi to bring you back. Wine tasting and craft beer tasting at its best. You need to try the local Dutch specialities and do not forget worst! If you... More

This is a great food market open only on weekends. Great restaurants and great food stalls and many other vendors selling various produce. also food of the world section with many different cuisine types. Go with an apetite as lots to see, do and taste. Parking is the only issue, get something on the main road if possible and don't... More

Wow! This place gets me every time. Super busy, but so worth it thanks to the variety of superb food that is available. A culinary ecstasy that you can't get enough of. Loved it! Good local clothing and leather products also available.

We had a great evening at The Test Kitchen. The restaurant is world class but on the current £ to ZAR conversion rate... without the world class price tag! We had a tasting menu with wine paring and everything was completely delicious and beautifully presented. It was completely fascinating to watch the kitchen staff in action - they are as... More

Located in Woodstock, this market is in a great location and has lots of great little botique shops. It seems very small at first, but if you are there on a Saturday morning make sure you go towards the tents and there's hundreds of stands of fresh ingredient foods! don't eat before you come here!

Amazing food and lots of really cool unique shops and market stalls. Ate at the deli cafe beside the wine shop, definitely recommend although if you can't get a table there are plenty of food stalls in the neighbour goods market.

Perhaps it's the day I went but I didn't really get a "Cape Town" feel on the day I visited. I can imagine many tourist liking it: afterall it is cosmopolitan, energetic, young, vibrant and, in places, very vegetarian, vegan and Eco-friendly. But I find this very exclusive for a market that is located on the border of Woodstock, a... More
