There are eclectic shops here in this converted mill, and they and the Test Kitchen and Pot Luck City are worth a visit anytime( good luck getting reservations at either restaurant, but especially the Test Kitchen)-- but why wait for fabulous food, when every Saturday, stalls here are filled with vendors of such things as tuna chilli flavored bill tong,... My absolute favorite thing to do while traveling is go to local markets. This one was a blast. Lots of great crafts, delicious food and wonderful atmosphere. This was the highlight of my trip!

Nice place, full of people and of the best food of South Africa and the rest of the world. Expensive, but you'll have a nice moment. Advice: draw money before you go. The queue at the only ATM is endless. Draw maybe R200-R300 per person.

We thought we were going to this market to view the local artisans and their products. They were there for sure. But the main attractions are the food stalls. We had breakfast before we went there and we were sorry we could not eat any of the array of multiple types of foods on sale there. Everything looked and smelled... More

I just love the Biscuit Mill! Whether you are looking for an interesting breakfast or brunch/lunch dishes, coffee, a new craft beer/cider or boutique wine, crepes, smoothies, pastries - there is something for everyone's taste! And then you can go shopping with a super selection of crockery, clothing, jewellery, art and souvenirs. Just hold on tight to your children's hands... More

Lovely locally brewed beers and others. Had first ginger beer made from Thai ginger that ferments into alcohol. Awesome. Also had a beautiful stout, almost smooth like Guinness there. Lovely chilled, yet busy vibe for a Saturday. All the markets and variety was lovely. Reminded me a little of the Plett/Harkerville Saturday morning markets (just larger scale). Think PE also... The Old Biscuit Mill is a has a huge range of food stalls and stores. You can probably find almost anything here, but most people come for the delicious food. This market is upscale and is clearly targeted for a certain type of audience, a large number of whom are tourists. This food is a little on the pricier side... More

The Saturday market has such atmosphere, lots of samples and great food and drinks to purchase. Go early otherwise really crowded. You might have to park a while away, but worth the visit.

Always great to visit the biscuit mill and sample all the home made scrumptious food and drink. If you're early there's not too many people else it gets really full and you won't get what you really want

I have been here about four times. Never got what the fuss was about. It's just okay. Very crowded, and difficult to manoeuvre around. Sometimes cant find a seat after purchasing items. Recommended if you have absolutely nothing to do on a Saturday( when the market comes round). Without the market on Saturday, its quite boring little place. If your into... More
