The variety of fresh food and produce is amazing. If you are hungry , first walk through the market before you buy , as there is so much to choose from you could make a mistake. Go early as parking is a problem. Although Saturday traffic is ok .Even if Parking can becomes an issue,It is a must if you... More

Amazing new concept for a flea market! Using the old mill buildings for little stalls! And the fresh meals served in the big tent was stunning!

Try to have as empty a stomach as possible before you come here because this place redefines the phrase "spoilt for choice". When I visited I did 3 laps of the food market before contemplating long and hard about which of the numerous mouth-watering offerings appealed to me the most. Aside from the amazing food there are some really great... More

I loved it! The food products on sale for the most part were the business. I loved the quality and attention to detail I found at the stalls I stopped at. People are friendly and they smile!! Downside: The crowds. At one point I almost had a panic attack! I suffer from claustrophobia so being squished and shoved about was... More

Go there for lunch and you can find nice music, cool people and really good food and drinks. I suggest to try the chocolate ice cream at the factory under the elevator

Creatively revitalized. One of the better place to visit in Cape Town. The food and restaurants here are highly palatable. Adequate parking.

Be sure to go early to find parking. Great food, try the grilled mushrooms. Goods sold at stalls are very expensive though and the market is too busy with very little places to seat at a table to eat.

loved this place! went there twice, the food is very good, the shops are lovely, design mised with vintage, african crafts, etc. Nice ambiance to spend a few hours. Be early, can be busy, closes at ca. 14h00

A superlative market in a superlative city. The caliber of Old Biscuit Mill is high--and reflects the understated sophistication of Cape Town itself. I put together a photo essay of our experience. We went several times during our 3 mo. stay in the area. The quality of food here is remarkable. More for prepared foods than raw ingredients or produce,... More

An awesome vibey, whole food market (Saturdays) in the heart of the city. Wide choice of food and drinks to choose from, occasional entertainment. One of those 'must do' places when in Cape Town. Get there early for parking close by, and then sit back and 'people watch' while you eat way too much! When you've finished eating, choose your... More
