Come hungry! You will want to sample everything in the Neighbourgoods market - and there are so many amazing different things to try! We also bought local honey from a vendor at the market and a ton of chocolate from Cocoafair (the desert salt dark chocolate was AMAZING), which is a normal shop at old biscuit mill. You can take... The music, the food and the people. A magical combination once you visit this place on a Saturday. The food is great and you don't want to leave the place after you tasted something. Just make sure you have enough cash with you, because you are going to eat a lot and with a lot, I mean A LOT!!!

We enjoyed 2 hours exploring and shopping at the Old Biscuit Mill prior to dining at The Pot Luck Club. The area is fun and funky - lots of great little shops with interesting and unique items. We purchased some delicious artisan chocolates, some fun jewelry and gifts. Afterwards we stepped out of the Old Biscuit Mill to explore the... More

This was my first trip to the market, and i know i would need several more just to try all the foods. The actual crafts and stores selling things didn't interest me much, as it is almost entirely artisan and quite pricey... The jazz band playing when we arrived was great, as were some kids with buckets just outside the... More

Take some old disused industrial buildings and populate with artisan - food makers/restaurants, handicraft stalls, furniture, nik naks, clothes etc etc, sprinkle some chaos and huge Saturday morning crowds and you have..The Old Biscuit Mill!. It seems that a massive hype surrounds this place and yes, one will be bombarded by lovely food aroma's and the general buzz of hundreds... More

We had an awesome time at the Old Biscuit Mill. Enjoyed champagne, oysters & the Chinese is a must have. Lovely items on offer from various artisans. The live music was great & created a fantastic vibe. Leave early to find parking. And don't get too annoyed by the hustle & bustle of the crowds as it will just spoil... More

This was our first visit to Old Biscuit Mill and it didn't disappoint. It is a great example of what the imaginative mind can come up with for redundant industrial buildings. Shops, restaurants and even small scale manufacturing of wooden tables combine to give this place a real buzz. Not just restaurants but the BEST in SA. The Test Kitchen... More

The old biscuit mill has all types of food t great prices. From oysters to sushi as well as pizza and vetkoe. The aroma's are fantastic and the only problem is finding parking as well as deciding what to eat! Also home to SA best restraint, The Test Kitchen.

Super cool shops and stands selling stylish homeware and interesting clothing from local designers during the week, plus an additional very lively food market on Saturdays with a few dozen stands selling a great range of fresh, sweet and savoury food, plus good juices, smoothies, beers and wines. Of course, this is very much not all of the greatness that... More

A nice place with restaurants, wine shops, live music and small handcraft stores. But the surrounding neighborhood it's not so nice. I think it worth a visit.
