Great and interesting place to visit for the afternoon. You can get the 102 bus from central Cape Town and get off at the 'Kent' stop and then walk about 2 or 3 minutes. It really is worthwhile. Great Shopping, good Food, interesting People.

This place has a lovely market that has amazing jewelry clothes and whatnot. Also a multicultural foodmarket. It is expensive though so be careful because its impossible to resist all the beautiful products that are sold ;)

If I could take 10 people to this place that are foodies it would start a revolution in the USA. Why don't we have something so magical? I don't understand. First - it is only on Saturday! So you have to get there! Plenty of local street parking. Second - you see all of the pop up tables and chairs... More

We went there midweek rather than Saturday. Yes there was hardly anybody unlike Saturdays but there was not much to see either. A few shops and cafés, that is all. It was rather boring. Would not recommend a midweek visit.

We planned to visit the Old Biscuit Mill and the market after seeing it on a blog. What a fun experience! The food was amazing- we ate breakfast and lunch there, then got a variety of foods to take back to our rental apartment for dinner. We also found a unique duffel bag to take back as a memory of... There are wonderful little shops and stands selling custom made goods from jewelry to clothes to stationery. Most of the are hand made so expect to pay a bit more than usual. On Saturdays the food market is open and you can have your selection of delicious food and treats but on other days there are a few restaurants to... More

This is a vibrant market which has a variety of food and crafts for everyone. A bit pricey, but a good experience. So if you enjoy the hustle then it's definitely worth a visit.

It's just a really nice place to hang out, have a coconut, and share different foods with friends or family. There's a lot to discover and a good vibe. One of my favorite things to do to start into the weekend.
