Candle light, flowers, champagne, oysters, jazz: Saturday morning at the Old Biscuit Mill. So much fun.Make sure to visit the shops as well as the food stalls: great for good quality gifts. You may pay slightly more but the quality is better and there is no need to haggle. Finally, get there early!

It's just a Pitty it is so cramped and not more spacious. A must visit though. Food in abundance, exceptional quality. Not suitable for small children, babies in prams anyone with difficulty walking. Continues to be one of my favourite places in spite of the obstacles in getting around. Hip, trendy, very local a great favourite.

Friends and I were here on a Saturday morning. Food stalls were thriving, a jazz band was playing, and the shops had many attractive (and inexpensive) things to buy. (I bought a red plastic necklace at Cristina's.)

Unbelievable food variety and quality. Try the mushroom skewer or the jelapino poppers, the paella or the crisp pizza with Parma ham, tomato, rocket and balsamic reduction covered in slivers of grated Parmesan! Wash it all down with a Jack Black lager, or one of the other liquid delights on offer.

Quite posh, no doubt expensive for SA, perhaps a bit of over-gentrification. But it is great. Especially liked the food tent. Friendly vibrant and you did feel that quite a lot of manufacturing was growing locally to serve it.

Old Biscuit Mill is home to shops of young South African artists. Very nice to just look around and have a coffee. But even better - visiting the Mill on Saturdays! There's a Food Market from 9-14 that offers a lot of amazing international food. Absolutely worth a visit. You should skip breakfast and try as many things as possible... More

Went slightly late but the place was packed. Great food, drink and atmosphere. The one set back are the beggars that greet you when you arrive and leave and this is but unpleasant

The Old biscuit Mill is a great place to hang out for coffee or lunch or just a wander around all the quirky little shops. We spent a whole afternoon here with bags of little souvenirs you can't find anywhere else in SA. Definitely stop for a bite to eat in the deli, you can also order a fabulous coffee... More

I find that the old biscuit mill is extremely overrated. I would much rather visit the route 44 market outside stellenbosch. Everything is overpriced. I find it to be a tad bit snooty
