A very vibey spot with some good eateries and a mix of upmarket and craft type shops. Seems to be a big hit with tourists and locals alike, especially on Saturday when the Neighbourhood Goods Market really buzzes.

Fun eclectic collection of craft shops, art dens and cafes. Therein lie all the hipsters in Cape Town. The best part for me was definitely the food market. Grab a slice of pizza, some paella and a glass of wine or bottle of craft beer and try to squeeze into a spot at the tables set up in the middle... More

We visited the Old Biscuit Mill on a Saturday morning, well, it's only open on Saturdays, in May during our time in Cape Town. Our private guide, Zakkie Parker, took us there on our way to the winelands. I don't know if we would have gone if we had been on our own but what a fun place. I had... More

So much food, so many people, so many choices, so much fun! Go hungry, conserve your calories before you go because you will get a whopping case of the hungries at this super food festival. So many ethnic offerings eaten by so many different ethnics and everyone having the best time. If you are in Capetown treat yourself to this... More

This is a very hip market in Woodstock. Go there hungry and not only do they have cool local crafts but a food area which is delightful. Have a cider and a prosciutto sandwich drizzled in balsamic reduction and watch the many shoppers spending their rand. You will enjoy hanging with the locals and tourists.

This is a tourist mecca on Saturdays. Parking is difficult and congestion is great. If you are going to be traveling in the area, you can probably find better. There are a few interesting options in the food court.

A crisp chilled 1998 bottle of Dom...and 6 courses of mind blowing dishes, served by attentive Waiters in a world class restaurant perched on the 6 th floor of an old biscuit mill, rates as our favourite experience ever in cape town

I've had the chance to go to the Old Biscuit Mill on numerous occasions. I prefer it during a rainy Saturday because it is less crowded. It's great way to nurse a hangover and a chance to try a variety of amazing food.
