Parking is a problem in the area so go early if you don't want to walk for a bit. Good food on sale and lots of different options Young children would be a problem as could quite easily get lost in the crowd. To be honest I found it a bit over rated and not enough seating space to enjoy... More

Not a heck lot of parking on Saturdays -- be prepared to pay off a local who will watch over your vehicle while you shop...and that is common practice in many areas of South Africa. The food stands on Saturday are absolutely delightful --from gourmet sandwiches, belgian waffles, wildmushroom kebabs, dumplings, sushi, pizza, pastries, baked goods, fresh juices, cocktails, paella,... I have been to a few neighbourhood markets and this one is probably my favourite! The vibe is just energetic and you almost feel like, even though everyone is strangers, you belong. There is different food choices and different values, and amazing smoothies and coffee and wine options. Everything looks so delicious you just want to buy buy buy. The... More

We visited the Old Biscuit Mill on a Saturday. What a dynamic and vibrant venue. Its really worth the visit. The small art shops, the boutiques and last but not least the fresh and food market. Strolling thru the food market is a feast for eyes ears and mouth.

Make sure you go early to get a seat. The food is incredible and it is even possible to get a glass of bubbly to have with your breakfast. Highly recommended

It's a fabulous way to spend a Saturday. Sit and drink an Everson's Cider, eat some delicious locally made food, and people watch. The crowds are pretty insane but on a nice sunny day it's fun to sit on the pavement, eat, drink and be merry.

This is a fun area to visit. But you must go on Saturday morning when all the fantastic looking food vendors are set up. The place a very lively. The craft venders had some interesting things as well. In addition the stores that are there have lovely items for sale.

Great atmosphere, and such a diverse selection of food. Also very good for shopping local artists and designers. Lovely jewellery design. I'm definitly going back here both for the food, the drinks and the shopping. (Best on Saturdays)
