For me this was a great experience. I really enjoyed all the different flavours and types of food. The wine was great and to be honest I think I enjoyed it to much and overstayed myself :-). The women were shopping, shopping and shopping while we men had a great lunch. You get everything here from pancakes to excellent cheese.... More

Saturdays from 9am-2pm. THE best local weekend market I've ever been to. If you're in Cape Town on a Saturday, then The Old Biscuit Mill is a MUST! On Saturdays from 9am-2pm, the old mill fills with local restauranteurs and businesses. Think of a smorgasbord of delicious flavors from all over the world. Everything from Indian, to Greek to Chinese... More

I regret going right after a big breakfast as the food there looked amazing. Lots of young hipsters as well as us middle aged folk.

If you want to give your tastebuds a treat, take them to the Old Biscuit Mill, but don't have a large breakfast that day! Gourmet food from scores of food purveyors from the Cape Town area. Only on Saturdays!

The atmosphere is awesome but it does get a bit too crowded, so go as early as possible! The fallafel stall is a good lunch choice and espresso lab for A good cup of coffee. I enjoyed cacoa as well a chocolate shop where you can watch them make chocolate and buy pure cocoa as well as chocolate shaped spoons!

Definitely worth stopping at the Wine @ the Mill for a botlle (or 6) of wine or MCC. Reasonably priced and knowledgeable staff!

Visiting the Old Biscuit Mill on a Saturday morning gives you a good flavour of Cape Town's quirky and creative side. The place has lots of little shops to browse and the market boasts an awesome selection of great food and drinks. Our strategy was: eat, browse, eat, browse, eat… It can get very busy as it is such a... More
