As a capetonian. We do so little to explore our own city. But with City sight seeing topless bus we get the chance to explore and enjoy the beauty of what Cape Town gets to offer. As my third time on the bus it never seems to dissappoint me. I enjoy each and every trip as it was my first.... More

We enjoyed our sightseeing tour in Cape Town. You can see all major things in Cape Town. Be aware that you check the operating hours very well that are mentioned in the brochure. We did a tour in the afternoon, at about 15h30 the driver stopped, we waited in the bus, after 10 minutes we went down to ask what... More

If you are staying in a area of Cape Town with easy access to the bus routes, this is by far the best way to get a introduction to Cape Town. There are 4 routes (plus a canal trip) all of which are covered by a single ticket. Go for the two day ticket as this gives you the chance... More

We did not get a rented car as needed and cabs were expensive. The Red bus tours was the cheapest and best way to see a lot of places around cape town. Never had to wait for more than 15 mins for a bus at any stop. Make sure you listen to the commentary as its very informative. For people... More

Cape Town is a sprawling city, so this is the perfect way to see many different parts without worrying about driving or taxis. There are several different routes and options that allow you to see the primary city areas as well as parts of the Cape Point and the Constantia wine region. You could easily spend 2 days using this... More

Sometimes I consider myself a "seasoned traveler" and turn my nose up at these buses, thinking I can do just as well with a map and a copy of Lonely Planet. In this I couldn't have been more wrong. From the friendly the drivers to the humorous commentary this is an unmissable experience for anyone new to Cape Town. We... More

The red bus tour was a great way to see the Landmarks of Cape Town, even as a South African there were some interesting facts learned. A helpful guide to other users is to take sunscreen and apply regularly. Also, some of the busses' aircons don't work so its hard to escape the sun by sitting inside the bus.

My friend and I sat upstairs on the bus, outside, on the way to Signal Hill, then downstairs in the sheltered part going back as it was cold and rain looked possible. It was very scenic, going past beaches, the trendy cafes in Camps Bay and some local flora around Signal Hill which has lovely picnic benches and is a... More

Hubby and I did the red and blue line the second day to see the city without having to worry about cabs or driving. Totally recommended!
