This was a fantastic way to see our home town from a different viewpoint - the top of an open-air bus!! The whole process was slick, from booking, to buses arriving on time, to the commentary. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The commentary was excellent - my 12 year old son sat riveted throughout - I was not... More

Excellent way to orient yourself with the city and its history. There are 3 different trips you can make which allow your to explore the differing aspect of Capetown City life.

The best value is to get the two day ticket online. You also get and evening tour and a canal trip (good for a 20 minute rest from walking) and a walking tour. The commentary is excellent and the drivers very helpful. Don't miss the wine route (purple tour). Make sure you visit at least one winery and allow at... More

The bus stops at a good selection of attractions, with something for everyone. Remember a hat and sunscreen because the African sun can be brutal.

Outstanding service and routes makes this probably a great way to explore cape town and it's neighborhood. The staff are extremely helpful and the commentary in the trip is quite informative. While the Red routes takes you around the glitzy modern Cape Town, the Blue route shows off the natural beauty of the mother city. I found the Yellow route... More

this is a great way to see the city if your time is limited. we bought the 2 day pass (book on line it's cheaper) and did the blue route and the red route be aware though that both routes only go in one direction so even without getting off, the blue route will take you about 2 1/2 hrs... More

It was raining heavy in Cape Town and our Robben Island tour was cancelled. We didn't know what to do until we saw a flyer for the hop on/off bus. We purchased tickets for both trips - Red and Blue. It was a great way to see the city and surrounding area, learn about it with the pre-recorded audio using... More

Did the 1/2 day city tour with the most amazing and knowledgeable guide. Viewed the surrounding beaches, the government buildings, older sections of Cape Town with a great history lesson thrown in. Also visited a diamond exchange which is a must for any visitor.

We took the Red bus from the Waterfront where we parked our car. We spent the day travelling the city. You need the entire day to do the tour justice. We rushed back to have High Tea at the Table Bay Hotel (which is highly reccommended!!!) We got off at nearly ALL the stops. The information was a great help... More

The buses are a great way to see the city. The routes only go in a clockwise direction and the longest route takes 2 1/2 hours so once you set off you have to complete the whole route. Also need to watch that the buses stop quite early.
