Found this to be the best, enjoyable, and, most economical sightseeing option in Cape town. Buy the pass which includes both the red and blue routes - totally worth it. The bus (hop on hop off) will take you all around town including table mountain, the vineyards, downtown, bo kaap, camps bay etc. If you are in town for a... More

This is a must for all persons visiting Cape town. This trip gives you an overview of the many, though not all, wonderful places to visit when in CT. From the Victoria Waterfront to Hout bay and Simonstown to Seapoint. So much history, such beauty. Clearly lot's of shopping. Cuisine suitable for varied tastes. Many tourist attractions and places of interest... More

Today was my 4th day with City Sightseeing! Day 1 we took the red route which took us to table mountain and round by the beaches. Day 2, the blue route took us to the wonderful Kirstenbosch gardens, then on to Constantia wine estate. Yesterday we were still able to use our original 2day pass (R270) for a ride on... More

Doing the city sightseeing tour on your first day in Cape Town is a MUST. It gives a great overview of what to see and do in the city which allows you to spend more time at the spots that interests you. Great value as it gets you to every major attraction in the city including a wine tour with... More

This hop-on/hop-off tour is almost a public service for tourists, there is no better way or more efficient way for an out-of-towner to get a sense of Cape Town. Like the "red bus" tours in other cities, it hits all the highlights, as well as many of the lesser-known but interesting sites and scenes in town. The commentary gives enough... More

As a Brit living in Cape Town for over 30 years I didn't think there was anything "touristy" that I had not seen but last year we had a friend here from London and took the peninsular bus tour. It was so informative. I learned so much about the history of my city and saw things from the top instead... More

See all of the city and the surrounding countryside, including the wineries ,on this tour. The two day tour is great value and it is possible to change routes at a number of points. The commentaries are great and even differ slightly on those bits of routes which are common to more than one tour!

The free walking tour offered through the city sightseeing office in Cape Town was absolutely fabulous. Two of my friends and I did the Bo Kapp Free Walking Tour and it was a great reintroduction to the history of Cape Town as all of us had been here before but were returning after a long time. Our guide was extremely... More

Definitely recommended ! This is a safe, easy and affordable way to see Cape Town. You could purchase 1 ticket and hop on and off as many times as you like in different attraction spots throughout Cape Town. My most fav part is the other side of 12 apostles and the route going down from the mountain ... def a... More
