We hiked Plattklip Gorge a hot February morning, and saw birds, plants, and lizards large and small. This is absolutely the best way to get to know Table Mountain while avoiding the crowds. While steep, the hike was just the right length, and once you reach the top, the view in ALL directions was incredible. 100% worth getting up early... More

I went on a very well organised walk with Margaret up Platteklip gauge, a party of six, some fitter than others. Margaret paced the walk to match the group, pointing things of interest on the way. Anyone wishing to walk up Table mountain I would book with Margaret

We were a group of 5 people (age: mid twenties - to 40) + guide. Our guide Margaret was very friendly and well-informed. She could answer every question we had.The hike itself was very diversified. We started at the botanical garden Kirtsenbosch, followed by stairs, ladders and some little rocks to climb. After this section it's most of the time... More

We had an amazing Table Mountain hike with Margaret. We did the Skeleton Gorge via Maclear's Beacon, to the Front Table (Back and Front Tables). She was an excellent guide and had us going at a good pace. She also provided plenty of insight as we hiked. Highly recommended!

I visited Cape Town for the second time in November 2015 and took advantage of a recommendation from the B&B where I was staying (Parker Cottage - also great) to go on a walk/hike with Table Mountain Walks with Margaret or Pietro. Margaret was traveling at the time, so I went with guide Pietro and one other guest up the... More

We did the Platteklip Gorge tour with Margaret and the Skeleton Gorge hike with Pietro. Both hikes were great experiences and among the highlights of our South Africa trip. This is the best way to experience Table Mountain, the most iconic sight in Cape Town! Margaret and Pietro were very knowledgeable and could point out landmarks, flora and fauna en... More

This is definitely a place to visit. ADVICE: since there is always a queue in the morning we decided to attend in the afternoon. Arrived to the mountain by 17-45. At 18-00 we were on TOP!! We spent almost three hours there enjoying the sunset and leaving the place with almost the last cable car. Taxis were readily available to... More

Wonderful team, from the first point of contact by email to the actual event we were kept informed about everything. Our guide for the morning outing was Pietro and he was a gentleman. We had great conversations, Pietro was super informed about the area and was entertaining too. We really had an amazing time. Margaret is a very kind person... More

Margaret provided the perfect end to our ten days in Cape Town. Having stupidly double booked an activity Margaret willingly rearranged and fitted in another walk for my son and me, even at the cost of forfeiting a well-earned day off. Her extensive knowledge of the flora and fauna of our trail added massively to our enjoyment of the climb... More
